  • This was red dead redemption on the NES XDDD My dad played this growing up and then let me try it on an emulator. Needless to say I asked for the cartridge for my birthday that year XD

  • This is a shockingly good game for as old as it is. I always knew I should have played it when it came out.

  • Is this game worth buying/fun?? I'm thinking of getting it

  • The lone ranger is also the posture prince.

  • This was one of my favorite games growing up.

  • is this a long game just like those with pokemon?

  • Silly game, 1880's=/="Early West"

  • I have this game, I remember I stopped playing it before even getting to the first hideout because I thought you had to kill everything... heh... oops.

  • Who are you ?

    We are the "Lone Rangers".

You can't pluralize the Lone Ranger.

  • Man, I never knew this game even existed! Looks cool!

  • This is definitely one of the better licensed games on the NES (or any system for that matter). Still fun to play years later too.

  • Outlaws in towns. Outlaws in towns never change.

  • You forgot the pause with the slight chuckle.. Outlaws in towns... *slight chuckle* Outlaws in towns never change.. Ever since man learned the killing potential of rock and bone.. *blah blah blah* ^_^

  • I expected this game to suck when I played it. I was pleasantly disappointed.

The Lone Ranger is pretty damn good.

  • good times...

  • Silver bullets do more damage? Are your enemies WEREWOLF outlaws?

  • We have Ninja outlaws, and Ultra-Mecha-Death-Tank 4000... >_> So it wouldn't suprise me...

  • @7wolfman7 What kind of reference is that?

  • the outlaw who kidnaps the president is the one who killed your brother,

  • i wonder if i can still find this game

  • Looks really fun! Also, this new compression method you are using seems just fine.

  • Strange game. ^_^

  • Isn't the "permanently shadowed" guy just a black dude?

  • 1880s. Not really when blacks and whites were allowed together.

  • The Civil War was over by 1865 and while obviously there were still racist practices pretty much everywhere it wouldn't have been completely unheard of. However, in a 1950's TV show like TLR, having a black guy on would have been WAY out of line :)

  • with black eyes too

  • Ah, so you finally upload another good game!

  • The President has been kidnapped by outlaws.

Are you a bad enough ranger to rescue the president?

  • LOL Now the game just needs pepsi products strewn about.

  • Haha, I came in here to say basically the same thing (Are you a Texas enough ranger to save the president?), but you have beaten me to it.

  • This game was an excellent choice :]

  • Sounds and looks fine. Good to have you back.

  • And so Frank the Ranger rides off into the far sunset...

  • Good to see you back Frank.

  • Are you doing this LP because of the new Call of Juarez game?

  • Hey, the Lone Ranger jumps just like Megagon. I suppose Wild West chest lasers are too much to hope for.

  • Hey, awesome! Frank's back with some awesome new stuff.

I was getting kinda tired of replaying and watching all over again your DBZ videos anyways, dude.

  • looks like a decent game, though I have a hard time playing top down run 'n guns where you can't strafe after the brilliant pocky 'n rocky for snes.

  • and what I meant to say was block or dodge, i'm tired.

  • Come back with more! Soon! D: Now! :3

  • Are you lone enough ranger to save the president?

  • Thank you! Yeah, I'll remember that password to continue!

    "State 0 Saved"

  • Great to see ya back Frank. Can't wait for more.

  • I think this permanently shadowed man is a black guy.

  • No, no, he's just extremely tanned.

  • Glad to have you back frank. You sound great and the video quality is fine. I like these settings the best out of the three test videos.

  • I could tell it was a Konami game right from the Pause noise. xD

I can't wait to see the rest of this playthrough. :P

  • It's very distinct, just like the music is in NES Konami games.

  • Oh, yeah, totally. :D

  • I've Missed His Comments...

  • Looking forward to you beating this one. Played it a couple years ago, got to the end boss and couldn't beat him : /

  • this games looks pretty god damn awesome

  • Video Quality is great! Man, I'm glad your back Frank. You are in the top 3 when it comes to my favorites channels. Keep up the good work!

  • you rock

  • This almost makes me want to play the game.

  • this totally reminds me of gunsmoke

  • I love this game. I think I'll go fire it up on my NES~

  • Saaay! I was hoping someone would LP this one eventually! This game was always something of a childhood curiosity made difficult by limited rental windows and ridiculous passwords.

  • ... So, another reminder of how wrong it was to call natives "Indians". I know Frank had nothing to do with it, I'm just quoting the game's reference to staying in character. Like Mak Twain's villianous character will always be 'Injun Joe.'

  • Seems to be a quite nice game. Good choice ;)

  • As long as the text is clear, and game play remains non-pixelated, I say it looks just fine. Movement makes it slightly blurry, but not enough to make any difference.

  • awesome vid frank, glad to see that ur back man!
