Sword canes are not legal in California, but had a close friend (from Arizona) who came over las Christmas and to my Great Surprise gifyed me with the Cold Steel Heavy Duty sword cane! I am 6'4" & 260lbs and it is a really good cane, not too heavy & I have used it outside the home when my gout flared up, as to the blade, 2ft long and sharp! on both ends! As a sword it is quick and can inflict damage in cuts as well as stabbing, great for old farts like me LOL
UK is allowed safety scissors and unsharpened bread knives, as long as theyre under 3 inches in length. lol, and no, the crime rate hasnt gone down, neither has australia's since they took away the citizens guns. in fact in australia most crime rates increased by alot within the first year of banning guns, like assault, which increased 400% in the first 6 months after the ban.
@MrHaveGun well, the first part was a joke, because england has many silly restrictive laws, but the part about australia is true, i first saw it published in an article about the cost of gun bans and the history of the usage of them to kill off huge numbers of the populations by the government. the article was in a magazine called concealed carry magazine. but ive seen that data in other places as well. it also cost the citizens of australia a good deal of money because the guns were destroyed.
Yeah, it's kinda hard to find a good sword cane. Given the current competition, Cold Steel is the best in that market. This particular sword cane runs about $90, I believe, on True Swords.
At first, I thought the Cold Steel Sword Cane was mostly a wickedly sharp thrusting weapon, but it's apparently a wickedly sharp edge weapon too. It appears to be quite a formidable weapon.

They're illegal here in the UK =[

Hasn't the UK pretty much been reduced to those short, round nosed kindergarten safety scissors?
Have the crime rates gone down in proportion to your loss of liberty?

@Liberty4Ever Actually, there are 2 diferent kinds of cold steel sword canes. One is a cutting/thrusting model, the other a point oriented blade
