the thing with these touhou musics put to piano is they tend to spam 16th notes and have ridiculously fast cadenzas. Trying to learn them gets tiring after a while. Kind of like playing touhou itself :P

This medley handles it pretty well though, diluting most of the completely insane bits.

yeah cause Mozart's music hasn't been around for 200 years. ZUN totally out classes him especially since ZUN can draw on a plethora of more composers than Mozart could as influence. Totally out classes him.

I doubt that if he were to come back today, Mozart would be able to match ZUN's talent for making synthesisers cry in pain. With each of his best pieces, Zun is guilty of cruelty to the demisemiquaver.

The problem is that you can't really compare anybody to Mozart these days, since he didn't even have romantic-period music to draw from. These days we have that, plus jazz, contemporary orchestral, rock, reggae and every other genre and sub-movement under the sun to inspire ourselves with.

If Mozart lived today and stuck with the times, he would probably do a pretty damn good job with modern equipment.
