when the right ski left she was completly screwed but she was leaning to her right but she smoked the netting

well both. she was already leaning in to the turn and then you can see her lean in some more and thats when she lost the edge and the ski slipped. once you get to that point theres pretty much nothing you can do but pray that you come to stop without hitting something.

Looks like she dropped her inside hand back, causing her shoulders to shift laterally, releasing pressure on her downhill ski, thus sliding out. Not hard to do when you are skiing on injected snow; especially on a fall-away gate.

Until you have done what Vonn has been doing all her life, you cannot understand what skill it takes to ski like that. Skiing is easy to pick up but extremely difficult to master. No exception with snowbaording either. I've raced, and coached teams in the past as I am coaching ski racing now. It's no joke, these are some of the best athletes in the world.

i wont call this sport wimpy because i wouldnt be able to fly that fast downhill. however it is understood that skiing sucks, snowboarding is the real deal, and skateboards reign supreme above all. "suck it"
