  • The only rational explanation I can come up with is that they left in a hurry (given the scattered clothes in the house) and changed their identities. But that doesn't explain their abandoned dogs, and found car in a parking lot.

  • as i watched the show about this family on E! I discovered something that I can't stop thinking about. Summer-the wife, she has lied about her age to her family. Everybody thought she was 32,but really she was 43. Also she has changed her name a couple times in her life. I think she killed her husband Joseph and she left the States with another man and her kids.

Joseph's brother did recognized Summer and two kids, but wasn't sure if it was his brother on this video walking with them.

  • @SillySweetPearle Besides name changes from maiden name to marriages were those described as made up names just used for different email accounts or Craigslist dealings or were the various name changes and fake birth certificate listing 12 years younger used to get a new social security card, drivers license, rental property, background information for a job, real estate license, credit related, etc.?

  • almost all the facts point to them disappearing on their own free will. the only thing that strikes me as odd is the dogs...they left them abandoned with no food or water. that just doesn't make sense...

  • @peaceeex420 Well, maybe leaving the dogs was involuntary like they didn't want to leave them but perhaps something unexpected came up and/or they felt they had no other choice but to leave them. Cell phones I don't know unless they thought they were or could be traced, and 4 days unless they were hiding out trying to drop a tail, I don't know.

  • I think this family did leave on their own free will. I dont think they want to be found.

  • This is similar to the Jamison Family except there no footage of them and its on three of them

  • its just so damn confusing. I'd like to think they left on purpose if only to believe that the children are ok but its so hard to believe that they'd be gone this long without any sightings or contacting their family.

  • Sloc420, that is exactly was I was thinking, about possibly getting rid of Joe and she is with someone else. I just saw the latest TV airing about the case and while interviewing Joes mom she mentioned she can tell those are the kids crossing the border but she do t think that is her son, I just wonder being that the wife was a misterious one and maybe she was planning to leave him. Also, anyone heard about that "employee" Joe met right before the disappearance?

  • @solo4you It is odd that the waiter somewhere in Mexico who was said to have seen a family of four, one of the children had a birthmark, father seemed like he could have been sick, a map was left behind, etc. that a motel had on their registry a Bryan Joseph his exact first and middle name reversed with the middle name spelled the same way as his and that was a motel right next door to that restaraunt? Not that investigators could determine anything based on that but is odd.

  • @solo4you Yeah, it's hard to imagine any examples that fit all the clues if it's not McStay in the video. I mean if it were some other guy just meeting her and walking her over where she thought she would meet JM that doesn't seem to make sense with their cell phones, 4 days, leaving the house, the dogs, etc.

  • Maybe they wanted to vanish voluntarily. Like other cases previously considered "coldcase" (Royal "Scoop" Daniels, found after YEARS) They may be wondering around South America without knowledge that they are considered "missing".

  • or they took joes car left it at the san ysydro walmart ditches his meds because he knew in mexico he could get more easy.

  • i think it looks like summer and some other man with the two kids. maybe joe was murdered and she took the kids to mexico under a false name with another person.

  • @Slocc420 wow

  • @imurfav Just a theory dont get your panties in a bunch

  • @Slocc420 what

  • You wrote "wow" as a reply to me.

  • What i dont understand is that if you pause this tape at oh... 0:29, and look closely. you can see the man and the woman AND the two kids perfectly, down to the womans coat. Now, heres the part that gets me all pissed off...if they are so close to their family, how do they not recognize her coat. if it is Summers or not? The man appearts to be wearing a light brown almost like a carheart jacket? If it was my family theyd be able to tell you in a heartbeat if the coat was even mine. WTF?

  • @Fabulistic247 I wonder if the little kids in this video have backpacks. If you pause at 0:29 the little one in front looks like he might have one on. I guess somebody in their families said the (white coat?) the female has on looks like one Summer might have owned at one time, but since they had clothes in pods and the family didn't see them everyday at a distance in different counties they probably couldn't be sure of the day to day clothing.

  • I just watched this story on tv and I can't believe it. It seems like thy left because they wanted to or the wife had something to do with it since she had all the names. Who knows

  • This story still haunts me. You just never know what might have happened to them. Maybe they were taken against their will. Maybe they actually did decide to leave without telling anyone. Or maybe they left BECAUSE they were in danger. You just never know...

  • For some fucked up reason, we can't post links on comments. Anyway, go to the mcstay family website, then to Guestbook, skip to page 15 and ctrl+F "Susy."

Best explanation of their disappearance by far.

  • Maybe the info found on their computer was a vacation they were planning? Why would they leave all their belongings, pets, money, home and family behind? Makes zero sense!

  • does anyone find the brother's testimony weird... If my family just up and left and i seen a loose window i wouldnt have went in. I would have gotten the cops, but if he did do something it could have been his way of covering up his dna. I'm not saying that but as an investigator i would have checked into that.

  • this is one of the saddest things ever. i wanna know what happened to them.

  • The McStay's McLeft.

  • @lyricist91

    that is hilarious.

  • que miedo :(

  • They've been missing since Feb 2010. I think they're no longer alive. :( I think there would've been a credible sighting by now.

And I don't think their families are covering for them. Because they could be charged with lying to LE, Interpol. Not to mention, the public ridicule for misleading the public, accepting money for interviews and from fundraisers.

No, I don't believe they disappeared of their own free will.

  • When I watch this video it looks like it could possibly be Summer and the boys,, but imo it looks as if the man that is supposedly "Joey" is carrying another child in front of him as if in a child carrier, in front of him and a lil off to the side as if being kinda carried near the hip. I see the childs head above "Joeys'" left shoulder.

  • @MissJR59 The handles of an inexpensive fold-up stroller at the would be Joey's head / shoulder, and the wheels dangling / turning at his left hand side by his waist.

  • When i saw this on Discovery ID i could not believe it. This is so confusing. It doesnt make any sense. I really hope they are alive, but all this is starting to look like perfect crime....Praying for their safe return... Marko from Serbia

  • the hair of the "man" is pulled back.. If you look at :27 the person is looking down and you can see something (it looks like a bun to me) on the top of the person's head. I think both of these figures are women. Joseph McStay is 4 in. taller and 60 lbs. heavier than Summer. These 2 people look of similar build and weight to me!!! This video is so grainy and inconclusive.

  • obviously both of the children are wearing hats in the video and if you look at any of the pictures of the famly the little boys loved wearing beanies.. and the woman looks like shes wearing a white jacket with a fur outliined hood, but is weird because the mans hair looks really short throughout the video

  • @cutiehmn Although the McStay boys were young and had small little builds, these two in the video look perhaps even younger. At about 0:36 the two in the video get somewhat more parallel, and appear to be possibly the same size, unlike the McStay boys who the elder was slightly taller of the two and a little slimmer than the more baby chunky one. Who knows perhaps even twins in this video footage, and possibly not the McStay boys.

  • I just read that the mother was from columbia, has that country been looked into?

  • @Cazman819 I think they said she was 3rd generation maybe.

  • @RandiSierra Summer was NOT from Columbia.

  • @Epiales No and being a descendant of somebody who maybe was doesn't imply she WAS from there does it?

  • @RandiSierra No, but if she was italian descent, does that mean they may have fled to there? That she was part of the mafia?

  • @Epiales Direct your comments at the poster who suggested looking into any mother countries then as my thoughts were similar to your own with my first comment.

  • @Cazman819 Summer was NOT from Columbia.

  • Somthing happen thats why they left!!!!

  • can anyone say.....Witness Protection Program? Thoughts? Mom or dad witnessed something....Feds came in and now totally vanished!!

  • @kidzmolar Detectives have looked into it. According to detectives they are confident that the McStay's are not in the witness protection program. Detectives have worked with them and US Marshalls have basically said they are not in protection. Although i guess if they were in protection would they tell detectives? I have no idea. It would explain everything. I believe the husband got involved with drug trafficking with Mexican Cartel. Got him and his family killed for it but I have no evidence

  • Besides the fact Joey is using a child carrier, The McStays are using 'Kiddie leashes" on thier children. They walking sigle file with decoys in thier left hand right past the K-9 nose and the EIGHT customs agents doing the huddle. This is all done for a reason....

  • @mightaswelltoo You're a complete idiot.

  • Mike McStay and family is hiding something. Mention drugs and he bans you from his facebook page. YEA right,... the family was so tight....... The Best is the father in the video with his eyes shifting back n forth..... " I was an INVESTOR in his company!" LOL!

  • Just my opinion... I think that is Summer, the boys... but NOT the husband.

It doesn't look like Joseph. That would explain why his prints were not on the map.

Summer changed her name and made a "fresh start" previously. I think she decided to do it again.

  • Based on everything that ive read and watched, i also believe it is possible the whole family died in the united states. Maybe they were all part of an accidental murder, mugged, something like that etc while out on the town. Who ever killed them, parked their car near the border. I DONT believe this is them in the video. that explains why the money has gone untouched and they have had no contact with anyone. However, i cnt explain Summers internest searches for learning spanish. very confusing!

  • @JoannaLouisiana Yeah the last call pinged in the area around their house one hour after neighbor's camera seems to spot them leaving could be they weren't even far from home before they got picked up, and since the very next day already nobody could get a hold of them seems most likely something happened to them throughout the better part of that night, then whoever got rid of them between those 3/4 days walked away from their car in a place maybe chosen to blend in a sea of people.

  • @JoannaLouisiana Yeah I don't know about the Rosetta Stone Spanish. Maybe because she wanted to get back into Real Estate and thought it'd be helpful to learn. But then any passport search in addition to that seems like too much of a coincidence huh? Unless somebody else was making the searches from their computer when they weren't home to plant seeds for this disappearance. Might be too unlikely.

  • @RandiSierra Yeah i hadnt though of that. There are so many possibilities, anything could have happend. But i do think they are dead. it has been WAY too long since theyve been missing. Considering they have had no contact withy anyone and they money hasnt been touched. but who knows! lol

  • @RandiSierra Summer was scared shit going to Mexico, especially when she couldn't understand Spanish. IMO, I think Summer was more in to understand Spanish, than learning to speak it. With the passports, Summer just wanted t be sure there was going to be any "snags" bringing the kids back and forth to Mexico. You wanna make sure you pack light and have any documents on hand to prevent any detainment, that can blow your cover. Here is another family gone missing, search for "Jamison family".

  • I noticed something interesting. I saw this story on Disappearance tonight...that's how I heard about these people. On the show, the police guy says that the woman in this video is wearing UGS...and at :32 it does appear that she's wearing boots. They showed a video of Mrs. McStay wearing UGS on a bike to show that she did own a pair. BUT...if you watch the Nancy Grace videos on this story, you see that the UGS were found at the house. It's all very frustrating.

  • @66912280 who said she only owned one pair? do they come in one style and color?

  • I'm watching and rewatching and getting more and more confused, lol. However I do think I noticed a line across the back of the first persons jacket. The person that would be Joey or "the man" in this scenario. Don't know if we've seen the backs of any of Joey's jackets in videos/pics but thought I'd mention it.

  • I see three children. I see the "man" holding a child in his left arm.

  • @brainwashedmasses

no, whatever he is holding in his left arm looks small, like he is carrying a grocery bag.

  • @brainwashedmasses I think that's from the man/woman with their arm holding up some sort of bag.

  • He is another idot that went missing like the McStays. Last seen on video walking towards a Mexican cartel safe house in Henderson NV, with a sack of cash that he just brought down from up north, collecting the cash at various towns along the I15. Greg Webb, Stevens so called buddy, hooked him up with the job..... wich only lasted just a few days............. Search YOUTUBE for Steven Koecher

  • @mightaswelltoo Okay, sorry...I went back and read all the comments from the beginning. I hope to god you don't know what you're talking about. Re: the bags...those were a decoy, right? To detract from the carrier? And how does that scatter thing "see" money in a car? The problem I have with your theory is this...why kill everybody? Why not hold the wife and kids and send him back to get the money? You said someone went to the house to look for money, why not take Joe with him?

  • @66912280 Google "z backscatter" . The port installed these units on the SOUTHBOUND Lanes a few years ago to search for drug money in vehicles. This is why the McStays "walked across" to avoid that machine. In the earlier stages, Joey used to cross by himself. As load got larger he started to lose his balls.

Then his wife started to accompany Joey. And when the load got huge, he used a strap-on child carrier to his chest that was used for smuggling this is y he needed to take his kids along.

  • @mightaswelltoo Well, so much for needing probable cause to search a vehicle! I guess you tacitly consent to this once you cross the border, much as you do in an airport. It would seem that what you're saying makes perfect sense, but for the fact that I don't see the wisdom in killing this whole family. Why not send the father back to get whatever $ was missing while holding the family?

  • @66912280 What you need to do is study the ways and ethics of the Mexican Cartel. Once you do that you understand. When you screw over the cartel, they could give two shits for the money. It is the Norm for the Mexican cartel to take out your whole family. In this case, they would torture and kill the children in front of their parents. Then torture and kill the wife in front of the husband. Then torture and kill the husband. Then throw the bodies in a drum of acid.

  • @mightaswelltoo Well, I'm in Ohio where, thank God, we don't have much exposure to the ways and ethics of the Mexican drug cartel. I have, however, seen news reports of bodies hanging from bridges and headless corpses being found. These people are, without question, dangerous psychopaths and any American clown from the suburbs who would even think about getting involved with them is crazy. I hate to speak ill of the dead (and, sadly, I do think they're dead) but if what you say is true, then

  • @mightaswelltoo shame on that mother. There is no way in hell I would let my husband use my cats, let alone my children, to facilitate a drug deal. Mothers owe a special duty to their children because, frankly, men are sometimes just stupid when it comes to kids. Anyway, the story you came up with is horrific and I hope to God it's not true. Are you a police officer? Are you allowed to say? You sound so sure that this is what happened, yet I just saw the Disappearance show a couple of

  • @mightaswelltoo days ago and they're still making it out that this disappearance is some kind of mystery. If these people took an acid bath, then they're not looking for bodies, so what's going on with that? This whole thing is just scary and so sad for everyone involved.

  • @66912280 If acid is not readily available for a "acid bath", the next common method is called making "stew'". By using this method, you take a 55 gal drum filled with kerosene and the body parts, with a fire under it to make "stew". The feds know. But without a body, you have no evidence. And since we have no evidence, we create videos and forums to "entertain" people with, in the meantime. A perfect example would be "webskewers"..

  • @mightaswelltoo You are quite convincing, you really seem to know a lot about this case and the drug cartel in general. Have you been given specific information regarding this case or is this just your theory based on what has been reported? I have been reading your comments for awhile and wondering.

  • Comment removed

  • @mightaswelltoo Joseph McStay did not call his partner from Mexico. That call was in California, pinged off one of the towers close to his house, and his house was quite a drive/distance from the San Diego area/Mexican border. It was a completed call that lasted about a minute.

  • Joey is wearing a tan jacket and both Joey and Summer are carrying white plastic bags in their left hand, making sure they drop that bag low, to give the Narco Dog a good whiff at the entry doors.. They want to walk close to the Border agents,,,, showing no fear....... letting that dog sniff them......... All too typical of contraband smuggling.....

  • @mightaswelltoo lol...not being a drug addict, I don't understand! What are you suggesting? What's in the bags and why do they want the dogs to smell them? Was he going to pick up drugs or deliver money or both? Why in the world did he take his wife and kids with him? I agree that he was definitely involved w/drugs, just not sure what exactly happened here...

  • @66912280 Dogs are trained to pick up on money. money is usually contaminated with drug scents. in smuggling operations you do not want to carry big bag of stuff like you see the other people in the video carrying. Carrying big bags across the boarder would prompt inspections by the agents. I would suggest the "simple bag decoy" is snacks for thier children. Bag decoys is a common item just to put in the dogs face to sniff, to keep the dog away from snifffing the stash

  • Hearing the story for the first time on Nancy Grace this evening, I noticed that the family lived in a very nice house, especially for the high-priced CA market. And what did they say at the beginning of the program, that he made water fountains for offices or something?

Could the husband have been involved in some hidden, high-risk business activities? The parents looked like free spirits, but very loving towards their kids.

  • @Caocao8888 I would think money laundering to the mexican cartel is HIGH RISK.

  • I keep watching this , and keep trying to take perspective and whatnot into account, but I can't get past the fact that the individual they're claiming is Joseph, just looks too small to be him...

  • @brainwashedmasses Yeah doesn't look like Joseph's hair either. Unless it's her, the two children, and an abductor maybe?

  • @RandiSierra How can you see his hair? The back of his head is blocked by his hoodie. Also, Didnt Joey cut his hair short so he does not look like a hippie when passing threw the port?

  • @mightaswelltoo Honestly the kids in this video look quite smaller too. These two might be younger than the actual children.

  • @brainwashedmasses What are you using for reference to judge Joey height? His Wife? If so, OF COURSE he going to look smaller as he is further away from Summer in the video. ( about 4 strides) And from that camera angle, Joey would appear to be the same height as Summer.

  • @mightaswelltoo

I didn't say too short, I said too small. Joey had put on weight recently hadn't he? In some of the videos he seems quite a bit "bigger" build wise. The guy in the video looks thin to me.

  • @brainwashedmasses I don't know maybe it's a hat or beanie since doesn't look like the dad's long curlier hair, but even then the shape of the head doesn't look like him. Definitely the build no. Much smaller as you say. It appears anyway.

  • Why would they use a surveillance camera with such low FPS as the border. They sell better cameras and DVRs for cheap and the border seems like a kind of important area fro Security cameras. Infrared ones would be able to pick up a better image then this one, which would have made an identity match possible.

  • @Npeo because it was dark out. when its dark, cameras go in to BW mode at slower frame rates.

  • @mightaswelltoo I own 2 Infrared cameras (Security Cameras) from 2006 & 2009. When both go B&W, frame rate doesn't decrease in the slightest. It's just Americans being cheap and buying cheap surveillance equipment.

  • @Npeo So were any of the possible four in this video wearing the jacket from ?Ross? Was just the receipt in the SUV or ALL the items too?

  • @Npeo Bandwidth is the issue. You have 2 cameras, the port of entry has,......... I take a guess...... 60-80 cameras? Then add resolution that will effect the frame rate. bottom line: If the 8 border agents was doing thier job instead of bullshitting, and the Mcstays was n0t laundering money to the mexican cartels...... we would not be looking at this video now.

  • @mightaswelltoo What I'm saying is that the Border could purchase BETTER cameras, and Better equipment so something like this never happens again. And you're right, if they weren't sleeping on the job, maybe we would find them.

  • If you pause at 0:30 you could see the man is carrying something but not sure it's a child. Looks like something long that he can carry in one arm. The man's build doesn't look like McStay. Weird that his brother would say anything like baby Joseph looks up at the man walking near them and not something like the would be baby Joseph, as if it's definitely them. The man walks ahead of them and kids look around so? Car not being there until 4 days seems someone else may have got rid of it.

  • @RandiSierra A baby stroller. One of those fold-up ones.

  • @RandiSierra What Joseph has strapped to his chest is a child carrier. A child carrier is a common method used to launder drug money to Mexico. Joseph was using his family as decoys to launder drug money to the cartels. The cartel member is the one who kidnapped them for a few days in order to try to retrive some missing money. Durring that time the cartel member took their car went back to the house to search for mssing money, after he droped the family off at the boarder crossing with....

  • Comment removed

  • The reason they decided to walk across the border was to bypass the Z-backscatter x-ray machine that was installed in the southbound vehicle lanes.

The Z-backscatter is able to detect money and drugs in vehicles. This is why you see Mr McStay wearing a child carrier (stuffed with money), walking it across the boarder. Unfortunately he screwed over the cartel on the last delivery and unknowingly took his family to the slaughterhouse ending with a acid bath. Mr MCStay is a COWARD!

  • @mightaswelltoo

He left 90,000 USD in his bank account untouched. Why?

  • @Derukugi2 It must have just been some freak. Maybe it wasn't so weird they had popcorn bowls in the front room, eggs or whatever on the counter since the house was kind of messy anyway. Living from packed in boxes many in the garage still. No preparations for dogs. Is it clear if the call to the business associate registered a minute by a butt dial maybe who knows? Maybe looking up Mexico because his other son surfed or something. They would have to buy something like gas 4 days, etc.

  • @RandiSierra It is confirmed that the MCStays had a child carrier like the on in the video. I have exchanged emails with the MCStay babysitter. Before they took the kids as decoys, MR and MRS McStay used to run across the boarder with the money for the cartel. When the drops became large they used a child carrier, and looked up passport info for the children, before they took the children with them to deliver the cash.

  • @Derukugi2 That's the money the Cartel was looking for. That's the money the McStay family died for.

  • @mightaswelltoo

    Thats speculation.

  • @Derukugi2 U think? The Fed's know exactly what happened. ONE question I ask everyone...

WHY DID THEY WALK and NOT DRIVE ACROSS the BORDER?

  • @mightaswelltoo Because it was a soon to be a targeted car if abduction who didn't want ties to it. Easier to find unless discarded. Already gone ?4? days?

  • @RandiSierra Try kidnapping. In this type of bizness the bad guy gives the Mcstay a TracPone (untraceable disposable cell phone....Btw this is the MISSING KEY that left (some)investigators clueless) 1 of 2 things happened. Joey skimmed too much cash from the last delivery OR most likely was given a major shortage of cash to bring across the border to the cartel. I believe Joey was given a major shortage of cash, because a job like this, you don't want to fuck over the cartel, KNOWLINGLY.

  • @Derukugi2 Try circumstantial evidences.

  • The last time I crossed the border in San Diego/Tijuana I parked in a parking lot and rode a bus across. As soon as the bus crossed the border ONE Mexican border patrol agent got on the bus, looked at everyone and then got off. Done. We were in Mexico. It appears this family disappeared on their own accord. Something to do with money... I hope the boys are ok!

  • @leesahpeesah Weird thing is their car didn't show up until what 4 days after the last time video footage shows it leaving their house? Wonder if some kidnapper had it parked in a garage or something then wanted to get rid of it so dumped it there. Summer doesn't seem like the type who would have went over there, yet then there is that computer search not long before they were last seen. Freaky if random coincidence.

  • @leesahpeesah

again, if it has something to do with money, why leave 90.000 USD in their bank account?

    makes no sense.

  • @Derukugi2 The was SUPPOSE to come back home after they delivered the drug money to the cartel in mexico, but instead they came up short and was given a acid bath.

  • So did they check vehicles going across too. I don't know if it is likely that their SUV crossed and was brought back and left by somebody else days later. Or maybe they met somebody on the CA side and never made it into Mexico. More than one person would have had to be for a whole family huh.

  • Wonder how much car the gas had left in the tank. Could it have made it from their home to San Ysidro without stopping for gas. Perhaps, and if so would they have had to have paid cash for gas if no credit or ATM activity. What was the activity prior to the last time the car left the driveway if the neighbor's video caught earlier that day.

  • Mr. McStay could of walk past the EIGHT Border patrol agents with a BAZOOKA, and they would clueless.

IF these EIGHT Agents was doing their jobs, They could of saved the entire family lives! WHAT A WASTE OF TAXPAYERS MONEY!

  • WHEN YOU USE YOUR FAMILY AS A DECOY TO LAUNDER MONEY TO MEXICO

WITH A CHILD CARRIER STRAPPED TO YOUR CHEST....

    YOU RISK SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES.

  • In photos of children on other web pages they seem to be wearing beanies of some kind, on this video you can tell both children are wearing beanies with balls on top. The female on this video is wearing some type of white winter jacket with fur around the hood, I wonder if officials have any photoes of Mcstay female wearing this similar jacket

  • Now that the neighbors video is out of them getting into their car on the day they disappeared, I wonder if they took bags with them, hats, coats, etc.

  • I have years of experience conducting video tape reviews, and I must concur with the image of the patron entering into the lower left portion (at 28 sec.) is holding what appears to be a child with left arm. Childs head leg and shoe exposed to camera. This video is recorded with a multiplex and has many other videos running at the same time that is why it seems that it skips a second. In all reality the video is one of the better ones out. Log it and continue further reviews!

  • @Amber0sia I see what you mean, wow sharp eye to notice that. Yeah I can see it looks like a head on his shoulder and legs hanging down, plus he doesn't swing that arm like you would normally when walking (seems anyway).

  • @RandiSierra Thats the strap on childcarrier stuffed with cash you are seeing.....

The baby did not want to walk, but MrMcStay could not use the child carrier cause it would bust at the seems if the baby went in it.

  • @Amber0sia

It also seems like you can see a child's hand on what would be the adults right shoulder. And I still think it looks like a child's head on the left side of the adults head.

  • @brainwashedmasses Those are probably the handles of the fold-up stroller. You can see the wheels dangling at the bottom. One of those inexpensive grab very lightweight types.

  • @RandiSierra Those are the straps of a strap on child carrier. Also, the pparents are not holding the childrens hand as it appears. The children have a "kiddie leash" attached to them.

  • @brainwashedmasses i thought the same thing! it looks like the man figure is a child. But my own personal theory: The Mcstays were involved in some activity (voluntary or involuntaty involved) and their lives were at risk as well as the rest of their familes. So several months before their missing, they were looking into fleeing the country (explaing the learning spanish, passports) they wernt sure when they were leaving. then at last min, they all witness the dad die and the rest flee..

  • @JoannaLouisiana People who are looking to flee the country do not buy houses and re-model them. Think before you post.

  • @mightaswelltoo ummmm okay? All i said was that something happend AFTER they moved in. OBVIOUSLY anyone with common sense would know that. but thanks for showing your ignorance. thank before YOU post. :)

  • Can't afford better Camera on Border?

  • Its mexico.

  • IMO the USA should have a good camera shot of people going in and out of the USA.

  • @DotiBump IMO they should fire the 8 border agents doing a huddle at the doors. Sure looks like they where involved with this families murder.

  • @DotiBump Exactly

  • The second person, left side, what is that? Seems a babies arm? Holding a baby in her left arm-side.

  • You can't tell. However the build looks wrong on the man? The second person looks like they have a baby.

  • @DotiBump no doubt, this is the family, walking threw the gates to hell.

  • @mightaswelltoo I have doubt that the father is Joseph McStay. But I would agree it makes sense and perhaps they did just elect to go into T.J (do not need papers to do that or come back just a DL and birth certs IF they ask for that, it is getting into the interior that is an issue and getting out, I know they say they do this and that but I can tell you that if you are white with a CA ID they will let you pass.

  • I'm thinking we need more cameras at the borders.

  • Isn't there a video facing the people's faces. Their back sides don't seem very helpful.

  • Lol. Well maybe it helps the agents at the border to monitor the activity on foot and call officers to particular areas if they see something come up on the footage that looks suspect? Like fighting or stealing? Maybe the border agents see this video at the very moment it's being captured in order to monitor the traffic and target areas? Wonder if they do have one at another angle though too that they didn't release (yet) maybe?
