Ricers are people who buy race looking or sounding parts and add them to their cars just because it looks or sounds cool. They dont actually care about performance. its more about looking or sounding fast. THE EVO IS NOT FOR RICERS!!!

ricers are people who put parts on a car that either doesnt need them or they dont fit or belong on the car they have. like putting a super tall spoiler on a stock civic..if the civic was a road race car that turned alot and went fast and needed help with down force then a wing would help but not on a stock street civic....evos are not ricer...i dont know why a loud exhaust is ricer now either because you have to open the exhuast up to make power so yeah its gonna be loud..ricer = gody parts

Exactly, these Evo's are modern day performance cars that have beaten Lamborghini's on timed track runs completely stock, and of course they cost about a 1/10th of a Lambo.

And dont forget these ricer favs:

-wings that add more physical weight then down-force

-body kits that actually trap more air then they channel around the car

-steel wheel painted to look like the lightweight ones

-fart can mufflers

-cold air intakes that are 6" long

-last but not least......NON FUNCTIONAL HOOD SCOOPS!!!

i own a Evo X my self and I dont know why f**king Mitsubishi Co. made the cheap lancer look like the Evo...front looks lil different but the rear end is the exact same..:(...I paid 42K and the lancer is 20K..so it needs to stand out..

performance wise would it matter if u had a single or dual exhaust on lets say a 500hp evo x jw cause there's a lot of controversy on it

It only makes a difference on a V type engine when used with a cross or X pipe, not on straight four cylinders. The best way to reduce backpressure on four cylinders is a 4-2-1 header setup.
