My thoughts on Guitar Hero "On Tour" for the Nintendo DS

actually one of the reasons for 4 buttons is for people with smaller hands than average(and since you can't slide without shaking your DS)

But I still think it would have been good to add that fifth button but just make it only for the "Hardest" level.

I Just Bought the Limited edition Guitar Hero On Tour DS With Guitar Hero On Tour it all worked out alot cheaper I got the whole package for 115 dollars/

how do you use wammy bar on this game?

You take the pick and strum the touch screen but then you keep going back and forth with the pick instead of picking it up and strumming it again.

there is one way you can activate star power..just tap the star power bar and there u go. =)

What's the fun in that! It best to just scream "SATAN IS MY MASTER" or "THE PRINCE OF DARKNESS WILL CONSUME YOUR SOULS, MY CHILDREN" into the mic, and you will be amazed how that works as well as tapping the star power bar. Plus think of the joy you will receive from others, happy to know that you are enjoying playing your new game.

I hate it when DS games use the mic as a part of the game. I use the DS when traveling (plane/bus etc) and you look like a total idiot screaming at random....sigh.

yea, there is no way you can use the mic and look like your not some crazy person. At least the DS looks like a notebook, or blackberry, so if your just using it on its own people will look at you as if your planing your itinerary, or something. But as soon as you start blowing into it, or screaming into it, well you might as well have people think you just got out of the mental ward for the day.

ok if u go to costco it is cheeper than at gamestop or bestbuy it is 43.65 instead of 49.99 it is about with tax it is about 6 dollars cheeper at costco.

Personally I go to a place that's near to me that's kind of a warehouse of videogames. Not only do they sell the new systems and games, but they have a wide variety of old stuff like Atari's, and Neo Geo, and the OG NES stuff. So it's my one stop shop for all my systems. But this game was sold to me at $46 with tax and everything came to $49 or there abouts. But when I say drop in price, I'm saying wait until it gets to around $20-30 before picking it up. Which is about your average DS game

Again, are you a big Aerosmith fan, if so if your thinking of buying one or the other then I would say go for Aerosmith, but I'm not sure how long that will be until it reaches you. But if you found this game enjoyable then by all means pick it up.

Oh, well. I've not gotten that far. But it's my guess then that these songs are not ones we are familiar with, or independent stuff. Or I could be wrong. When I get that far I will make an update.
