I love learning Italian and I've been learning it since the end of 2001. In the first 6 months I picked it up well. After that I went plateau for some time, being stuck on grammar drills and memorisiing. When it came to speaking with Italian people, I'd find myself stuck and not able to express myself beyond saying my name and age. But she has just highlighted the challenges i faced. Since 2 years ago I've changed the method and went for watching news, reading magazines and speaking with natives

I am from Malta and I carry an Italian surname Castagna, and I think that i should lean Italian so I comunicate with my italian friends.
