Wouldn't it have been awesome if Johnny would have paid a visit to Marlena in recent years? Since he and his mother stayed in Salem. But alas, TPTB always forget about history unless it's convenient to them *rolls eyes*

am i the only one who was mad as hell at johnny when the scene was over? i could scream! i cant believe he chose his other mom. Marlena sure has been through hell.

@castara000 Eh...You couldn't blame him though. He had years with his mother, and only month with Marlena, and even though she might have been a better Mom to him, she had to send him away a lot because her life was filled with turmoil. Some people are only meant to be in your life a moment to change it. Ya know?

The stories were a lot more sadder back then, but nevertheless I like dramas/situations rather than just straight on smut that doesn't go anywhere, with the additional name calling and shoving matches between women(not cool or kosher) and very horrible violence. People who writes the soaps have forgotten the hearts of the matter and the very ingredients of what makes a good soap. I don't know what these shows are anymore but they ain't the shows I loved watching for an hour as a kid!
