These 3 videos give more insight and depth to life in Juba,Sudan than sooo many others I've seen. I love the various perspectives and images used to show the beauty of this land and the Southern Sudanese people. We were just talking last night about ways to help family in Juba, how to best invest and help from here in America. It's not an easy answer...Thank you so much for these videos. I chose the imagery in an attempt to situate the viewer in Juba at the ground level, which is a highly paradoxical and confusing place to be (a major message of the film).
I am not so interested in documentaries that give you their argument 'on a plate' so to speak. I generally find that a more subtle approach to matching sound and image allows more space for interpretation, and for people to reach their own conclusions, as they must do in real life.
Interesting video but what is the message? You have some interesting interview clips butimages and text don't work together. Pictures should reenforce, illustrate the words
