I didn't PMS until I was menopausal, then I became nuts for 1 or 2 days a month for about 5 years. My poor husband thought I was totally going over the edge. I was thinking I was probably psycho too. Then the three ring circus that was my monthly cycle stopped and so did the PMS. Despite the fact I was relatively young when I went into menopause and I was hoping for a baby. I was happy to be done with the whole mess.
@flibbertygibbet You went through a lot & this story is not as unusual as some may think. Many women are going through menopause earlier these days which is very sad for those women trying to conceive later in life. I've left girls over this. Listen ladies, we didn't do it. If it were our choice, you wouldn't have crappy hormones, and you wouldn't have to go through this every month. We would make possible every dream you ever had. We love to see you smile. But, you would still be unhappy half the time, and still want more. You would still be negative, you would still pick out even the smallest bad parts. That's why guys quit trying to make you happy in any way, and quit relationships, it's impossible.
@rabidpensfan You seem pretty cynical about women in general. Maybe you should be telling all the women that obviously pissed YOU off in YOUR lifetime. As a women, yeah I can relate to the behavioral changes that occur during that time, but I don't go out of my way to hurt the ppl around me. So unfortunately that blows your whole theory on women out of the water. And by the way, these two women don't necessarily paint women in the best of light on the subject. I hate you feel that way, though.
Just saying that the notion that we just have to put up with this is garbage. We really don't. I know I won't. You start bitching and complaining about me for no reason, and I'm single again by my own doing rather quickly. I figure that there are probably about 3/4 of a billion other women on this planet I could be with. I've had more than one girl tell me that most women use the period deal as an excuse to simply be mean. If you are that miserable, just leave me alone.
@rabidpensfan I understand your inability to deal with being soomeon's emotional punching bag. I'm pretty intolerant of that myself, but like I said we're not all like that. Maybe the girls who told you that know better than anyone because maybe they're like that. Maybe you should rely on more accurate sources than a few friends. Nah, you will never get me to say all women are this or all women are that, or that all of one particular group of people are all anything. To me, the exceptions prove the rule. I'm just speaking in general terms of my experiences, and the experiences of more than just a "few" friends. You seem like you aren't like that though, so maybe you just don't know. What is a bigger nightmare... is when both partners are having "that time of the month"... Yes, us guys get our own form of "periods"... Ask my Mom... she always knows when I get moody... hehehe... But generally, these rules can apply to both genders...
