  • Dude, your assembly line is faster than the factory .. hahahahah!

    Good job!

  • u know u cn get this guitar for 200 right?

  • @wrldisntfree

Now I dont know whether the part he use is Japanese, but the RG 470s that go for around 200 as you say,are from Indonesia and Korea.I am buying one myself today or tomorrow, and its a Japanese made (serial start with a F).There are big differences on the ones made in Korea and Indonesia, and the ones from Japan. :)

  • @Nevigo Well the stuff I used is Japanese. The one here is a 1993 model. If you got a 1992-93 model, you got the best RG470. These have Original Edge tremolos and Original Wizard necks on them. In 1994 the 470's were changed a bit. They had I believe Wizard II necks and Lo-TRS tremolos on them and were still made in Japan. I'm not sure when but I believe production was move elsewhere later on. but it sounds like you definitley got a Japanese RG470, which is definitley better than Korean/Indo RG

  • @TheZombieRitual

I didnt buy it.There was too much mystery about it,and I was not sure it was Japanese.I buy another.:)

I forgot to say good job on the guitar you made.Good luck with it.

  • Those neck screws hardly seemed long enough. How are they holding up? It didn't look like you met much resistance.

Also, you should take greater care when installing them. Jamming them in there and psychotically twisting them in isn't the best idea. It's better to do it right, than to show off in front of a camera, and run the risk of stripping the screw holes. Otherwise, keep up the good work. Building your own parts guitar can be fun. I have couple of Ibanez builds in the works myself.

  • Also, vaccum your floor, man. Do you want the whole world to see all the funky bits laying around on your carpet?

  • Good job man!!!! \,,/

  • @NikoSa124

Thanks man. I'm actually still working on it. When it's done I'll probably either put a Part 2 or delete this video and make a video of the whole project.

  • excellent job, im building a custom ibanez jem
