  • Not sure on 70mm, it's a format I have not messed with unfortunately.

  • Hi, great video! Helped me a lot. Ive one question. Is it possible to us a 70mm film on a 116 spool ? Thanks

  • Now I have one of those and am in fact cleaning it right now. But it looks like it should give you a wider field of view. Is that true with your photos?

  • @YourDailyVideoStore It is best to keep the film in subdued light. I typically respool then load the camera in my bag to prevent the edges from getting exposed but it's not a huge issue.

  • Yes this needs done in complete darkness but no you do not need a darkroom. If you have a walk in closet or a bathroom without a window in it you can go in there. Get a towel and roll it up to block the light that comes from underneath the door and that should do fine. My rule of thumb when using either of these two places is if you can't see your feet when you are standing up then you are ok to proceed.

  • @MachineWashablePhoto

Thank you. I managed to destroy a whole roll of film on my first try but I've got it now haha

  • Hi I have a question

Do you have to have a dark room to do this in?

I mean, if you unspool the 120 wont it expose it? Sorry if that's stupid, I'm pretty new to vintage cameras.

Anyway, this was extremely helpful, Thanks!

  • Thanks for posting this. Really helped me to see a video.
