honestly, you are an amazing rider. and it seems to me and everyone else, that you will be throwing away a WHOLE LOT of talent. im just saying, dont quit. you will regret it. dont give up the fight, and just keep dreaming. you can do it, if your in it to win it. you need to believe in yourself and just keep trying. never give up , you are amazing.

You can't give up! You're an amazing rider. I know exactly how you feel. I'm out growing my pony and it's just too hard to bond with another horse. Not to mention costs... I'm just saying, you're fight's not over yet. Things happen for a reason. It gets worse before it gets better.

oh my gosh .... i am so sorry. it happend to my cousin , she owned a pony and she came home from school and was walking next door to her barn to go ridding and when she got there, her pony was gone. Her parents had sold him without a warning to her. She didnt even get a say in it. He was gone. She hasnt seen him since, has no idea where he is or how he is doing. SHe hasnt ridden since.

I'm so sorry for all that's happened. The story seriously made my eyes tear up. You are such a great rider, and I never want to see that talent go to waste. Seriously, you were my idol and it makes me so sad that you can't ride anymore D: I hope everything works out for you in the end.

can i just say you are an amazing rider your equitation is beautiful. but really i feel like it would just be a horrible waste of talent for you to give up riding forever and i know that is not your plan but please don't ever get so discouraged that you do give it up forever. really i have total faith that everything will work out for you, and your right god does have a plan for you, but i dont think god would bless you with such a gift for riding if riding had nothing to do with his plan :)

But the ones it does come true for is the ones that never quit the fight, even when the ground was ripped from underneth them. No matter what the issue is they always make it work one way or another. I'm just saying you SHOULD NOT quit the fight now. There's more horses out there that you will bond with. I just don't want you to regret quitting. I hope things work out for you, I really do(:

@MissWannaBeGrandPrix thank you :) im not really quitting, i just literally can not ride right now. i dont have any way to ride at all. my dad wont pay for it and i do what I can to earn money but its not enough to afford board. I dont have any way to drive somewhere where i can get a job to earn enough for that. I try to work for lessons but there are no horses available for me right now so i cant :( but i for sure wont quit,and when i do get an opportunity to ride again i for sure will :)

I know how you feel. I had just bought a wonderful, kind horse Named Patrick, he could jump much higher than my old horse, and we finally really started to get to love each other, but now I can't ride him because there is something very wrong with him, and not even my trainer knows what is hurting him. Its been close to 2 months without riding, I know its nothing near what you are going through, but it still hurts. And now my mom wants to sell him:'( but I know no one will buy him like this :(.

Sorry hun. Just try and reach out to him. Your dream are within reach. I've been dreaming about the show circuit but I can't because of money. I also have a temporary medical situation that prevents me from riding. I think of it as just a break. You should think about that too. If both Chance and Slew are at Judgement Farms, then still go. Slew will eventually understand. He seems like a pretty smart horse. I LOVE Teddy and I had to leave him. He's probably mad at me too and will bite. :)

i know how you feel btw barns,dreams, and horses. i seem to get on a horse, train it a little and then someone else gets on it and i find another horse to do it all over again. just think you're not the only one out there feeling this way. i am now with an appy that i love and he is basically kind of mine. I'm so sorry to hear this! I know how in a way you feel since my horse Tony is pretty much dying before my eyes and we can't do mcuh to help him. His daughter Kandy might be sold soon to my mom's friend so she can start competing in jumping again but I won't be able to see her since she will be in a different city. And to top that all off I just lost another friend to a gunshot to the head. Depression is really killing me on the inside but if you ever need to take I'm here for you!

Like you said, God has a plan for you! He will guide you through this tough time, just trust in Him to help you! Keep going to the barn, eventually someone will notice and you might get to ride a few horses that you never would otherwise (: Cheer your friends on at shows and see if you can be a groom for them.

You can NOT give up im in the same boat as you right now i need to move up but cant and ive given everything up for this sport and it always feels like you go forward and then go way backwards! This sport demands so much mentally and i have spent days balling cause i got close then it went bang away! i was super close to leasing a 3ft childrens horse we had it all set up and then my parents told me to drop it! so YOU HAVE TO HANG IN THERE!!!! :)

I have felt similar pain to what you are going through. Back in February, I had started leasing a horse named August. He had a bit of an attitude problem since he hated being a lesson horse, but when he was good, he was perfect. I was hoping he could be the horse to get me into the show ring. About 3 weeks later, I was told he was leaving for training and probably wouldn't be back. I got to say goodbye and I felt like I could handle it, but the next day I came to the barn, I realized I couldn't.

I know what you mean about slew biting, I'm not sure how aggressive he does it, but my horse Apple Jack will nip at me a little if I skip a day at the barn. if I skip more than a day or two then usually he acts as if I left him and never planned on coming back, so then he's all over me as if thanking me for coming back. he's got such a personality I love him. :)
