im about to put together a tank with some natural fish like yours and could use some advice! Ive never kept a fish tank before, what do I need to keep them alive? other than food obviously
mannn If ever you get the chance, fish virgin waters. If you're lucky enough to find a small body of water that has bass who've never seen a fishing lure or human before, it is ONE HELL OF A TRIP. I found a tiny hidden cove here at lake mead outside of vegas that I knew no one had fished before. Sure enough, it was packed full good sized bass who didn't know any better. I swear to you they stuck every lure like this. I let them forget about me every month, and go back for more :)
@bassmaster3541 absolutely, lake mead drops and rises and erodes all the time opening up new coves...i used to pound your mother at this same cove till i knocked her up, I had to leave since the baby had downsyndrome
@mackles haha no need to get hostile just because you are clearly a moron and think that you found a secret cove on lake mead and are the first person ever to fish it. Maybe alot of people don't fish it, but you are not the first person ever.
They are called Air Stones and you'll need a air pump for them. To answer your question, YES, they do need plenty of oxygen to survive, especially if your water level is completely full. Another thing you can do mean while is lower the tanks water level just enough for the water pump to create bubbles as the water comes back in.
i have a 30 gallon with a 2 1/2 inch - 3 1/2 inch bass can i keep him in there until he's like a foot long or full grown the tank is about 36 inches long and 1 1/2 feet wide so can i get some info also
Cool video! I was thinking about trying to catch some baby bass and add them to my tank. What do you feed them usually and do you feed them daily? Thanks.
nice set up for your baby bass..are they small or large mouth bass? I have one small mouth but i need to catch 2 more so it won't be lonely..any suggestions of how to catch baby bass? I used a small piece of night crawlers with small hook..thanks!
I have 6 baby largemouth bass, and the best way to catch them is with a 4 or 5 casting net. This is the best way because the fish will not get hurt. They also say if the fish is big enough to be caught on a hook it is more likely to have a harder time adjusting to aquarium life. Finally if you use a hook, you run the risk of damaging the lip or other vital parts of the fish and then you might as well just put it back in to the water.
@AWESOME03OOO your an idiot awesome. obv you never had these fish.... one bass needs 600 gallon fish tank? Have you ever seen a 600 gallon fish tank....I have 3 bass in a tank and they are doing perfectly.... look at my videos for proof... a 600 gallon is like 15 bath tubs genius
@lightningsk8team Hey guys keep in mind that you can have the enjoyment of keeping baby bass 1" - 3" in a 55 - 65 gallon tank temporarlly, sort of like a nursery, until they are big enough 8"- 10" to be moved in to a much larger tang or released back to a pound.

@johnkook73 Its good to feed them live minnows or gold fish daily and the good thing about that is that they will eat them as they get hungry.

@k20fg2 1 smallmouth needs a minimum of like 500- 600 gallon fish tank and largemouths need a 150 per fish also. dont keep bass in fish tanks.
