Err.... I didn't use this pieces in the exam , I change to Gavotte as my piano piece ... I get 18/30 ... (T_T) ... sorry...

What did you get? Did you get the results back? Anybody going to try the Prokofiev March from Love of Three Oranges for List C who is going to take the exam next year? If anyone is going to play that piece, LISTEN TO LAZAR BERMAN!! No one can play that piece better than him from the 1988 concert in "celebration of steinway's birthday" at Carnegie hall in New York. I am inspired by his performance there!

Who is the composer? I never heard of this piece? But it sounds a little like Shostakovich. It is awkward sounding, and it sounds like you do not keep steady tempo. Practice with metronome, again!! Verdict, Bach (80/100) and Bumble bees (95/100) good, this (65/100) and mozart (50/100) need a lot of work.

yeah it was very good - but i don't think that you grasped the very essence and style of this piece, maybe you didn't understand what you were meant to be achieving. Also, there were a couple of slips and the ending wasn't much to abhor - it was messy and the timing was wrong. Having said this you gave a sound and enjoyable performance of the puppets dance.

I too am learning this song. It is like hard(I agree with you). I've only been playing the piano for 3 years(near to 4). So, I feel that it will be even harder for me to handle.

I'm learning this piece at the moment for grade 8. It's SO HARD!!! i've only been playing the piano for 5 years, so this is where my inexperience is going to give me a hard time.
