@verizonmonkey Deterrence is the one thing that scares burglars and wrongdoers, from what I've heard, the simple sound of someone pumping his shotgun scares away most of them.

The second shotgun was totally wrong and it irritates me when even cops perform that procedure. You retract the slide to within 2 finger widths of the receiver, then pull the shell from the front of the bolt. Then press the lifter up and finish retracting the slide. That will eject the shell from the mag tube. Then you do the same procedure as the first till it is empty. Safe and there is no gun in the chamber from the beginning to end. Much, safer and looks more professional.

My winchester ranger is the same as the second gun, hit the button and pump until empty, keep an eye on where the shells are ejecting though, they go everywhere!!

Pump action shotguns is nice, but I prefer a double-barrelled one when I hunt ducks and rabbits etc.

check the chumber first and remove shell from chumber, ater start unloading the tube magazine. I guess its not a good idea to manipulate with loaded gun.
