Jeet Kune Do is Lee Jun Fan way of training and application of Tao filosophy to fight and training. If u have the oportunity to train JKD, do it, with a real SIFU, and youll see what Bruce tried to explain us.
@strategery101 He did not defeat Chuck, they have never met in a real fight! Bruce has NO documented record being a real fighter, there are NO clips when you see Bruce fighting for real. He avoided all fights against the pro´s coz it would probably hurt his myth building. All clips I´ve found is when Bruce training and do demos only. The other clips is just ppl talking about the legend. All statements is from friends and fans.and last.. NO skills needed to beat opponents in a B movies!
@ZoDDyXXX I know, I was only kidding. Bruce is obviously a legend, but it true that there is no film of him in a real fight. As great as he might have been, it's hard to see him beating an undefeated pro fighter like Chuck.
@strategery101 I really like Bruce Lee! He made me like martial art as a kid, but the more i practice it in real, the more i realize that he´s just a movie star legend. He have skills, he is ripped and he´s fast and have nice kicks and moves.. but i´m not convinced that he would beat the pro´s in a real fight. He would need experience from real fights against genuine pro´s, but he had non what i can see. His movies are entertaining but silly, what i really like is his nunchuckas skills!
@ZoDDyXXX You're silly to think that Bruce was just a movie star. They guy trained constantly. There are no videos of him actually fighting, but there is plenty of witness accounts of him beating the tar out of people who thought he was "just a movie star". The fighting style that he made emphasizing simplicity and effectiveness should be more than enough proof to you that he knew his shit. Besides, he grew up on some of the roughest streets in hong kong fighting rival gangs He was for real.

@ZoDDyXXX Chuck Norris was a point fighting(non contact) world champ...what he did was no different to what Bruce did in his movies....no one got hit...Bruce never fought in tournaments for that reason...hurt his myth building?...where you get that bullshit from?....Which pros challenged him?....they were all shit scared of him....all the top pros were learning form him..Norris.Lewis,Stone etc...get your facts straight mate
I enjoy Jet li very much - he is very impressive! But who can deny that Bruce Lee is still the fastest ever and the most powerful human machine ever created. He was way too fast for humans! i slowed down many videos on him : he was still too fast like lighting! We miss you Bruce ( A Chinese American - born in San Francisco , Ca. U.S.A.) A good video on him here with good music! I saw other videos with some kind of hipp hopp or rapp: Bruce was never into that.
The legend of Bruce Lee lives on among us today in popular culture and all martial arts. I practice Jeet Kune Do, and it is the best thing I have ever done with my life. Thank you Bruce Lee for helping me find myself. Be Like Water.

@ZoDDyXXX Look up the video of Bruce Lee lighting matches with nun-chucks, then come back and say he's just a movie star.
