I made hot ice once. OR, tried to, since i boiled it to much on to high heat. It became frozen forever, and it froze in the fridge so i couldnt see it freeze. It didnt even melt in like 25 degrees celcius...

you are making sodium acetate... the reaction between acetic acid(vinegar) and sodium bicarbonate. when finished leaves you with sodium acetate... and water.. then you boil off the water... tada sodium acetate aka (hot ice)

When the sodium acetate boils down it separates from the liquid and crystallizes, then it is mixed with normal water and a chemical chain reaction takes place that instantly turns water from a liquid to a solid.
