Beautiful Irish song from the opera "Martha" 1847 Vienna. Friedrich von Flotow did'nt write the song but borrowed it for the opera. The words were written by the.Irish poet Thomas Moore in 1805.

I love this song. It was my parents favorite Irish song. I grew up in a very IRISH home listening to Irish music all the time. My brother sang this acapella as we walked out of the church last year for my father's funneral. Not one dry eye in the church. Very touching.

Good video; I don't think you should remove it. But as a word of advice; the tempo of the song is very slow and soothing, while the pictures only stay on the screen a second or two. Increase the time a picture stays on screen, decrease the speed of transition.
