First off, the song is fun to listen to in a nostalgic 1960's - 1970's -ish sort of way. And just to test the critiques, I scrolled the page so I wasn't watching the pretty lady. :-)

Yep... the song was still fun to listen too, however.. having attended a number of annual harmonic concerts, I have to say that her mouth harp could use... some refinement. I think it's good to have in this song, she just needs to play the notes somewhat more clearly.

The lyrical phrasing sucks, her voice is all nasily and she flats out a few times (slightly tone def), chord progression is easy and boring, other than playing basic chords she shows no proficiency at guitar, she is worse than BOB fucking DYLAN at harmonica (thats what pisses me off the most!). People need to look past the fact that shes hot as fuck and realize she wouldn't even make it on American Idol!

Musical grades are qualifications for a particular instrument. Everything you say is about technicality. My point is that music isnt about technicality, its about the artistry the music conveys, and I really take something from this. And I wouldnt care If she looked like a walrus, this song is still beautiful.

Music is VERY technical! In order to produce good music you need to be technically sound. Art is open to interpretation and music is art...but thats only half of it. The other half is science!

Most of my friends are classically trained musicians. Some of them have very critical opinions of what is and is not technically correct and others actually provide constructive criticism which conveys the same advice in a manner so as to help a fellow musician.

I tend to listen patiently to my snarky friends, but actually learn from my patient buddies.

Oh.. and also, "I might not know art, but I know what I like." :-)
