No, Sonic wasn't posessed by Chaos. That is, in fact, Sonic's original coloring, belive it or not. He was darkened so he wouldn't blend into the backgorund.

Heh...which was pretty weird. In normal levels he'd die nearly instantly if he so much as TOUCHED water, yet in that annoying fourth level he had to SWIM.

I am just starting this Youtube stuff and I was wondering if you could tell me how to make a remix out of a song using slide transitioning pictures to make a video, you know, since you seem to be a master at this stuff.

there's no secret. you just need to find something that would appeal to the viewers and something that naturally fits the picture and maybe does a full transition or the slides. slides can also fit the mood of the video, you can try that, and overall, all you really have to do is practice.
