he wanted to keep the car level so when u let the oil drain it will drain all of it instead when u use 2 or 1 which cause the car to lend in the direction that when the oil leaves the pan some of it might still be in there

theres alot of ppl who dont get that concept so you still end up with old oil with the new. then you just end up with mixed shity oil.
