I loved the mature landscaping. It softened the lines of the villa nicely and integrated the water features beautifully. This is a place to just enjoy life and have it all come to you....or not. I can imagine myself on the patio sipping a morning coffee, taking a swim in the heat of the day, and dining on some exotic fruits and veggies and seafood and sipping a tall cool one in the lounge next to the bar in the evening. It has a lovely feeling about it. As if this place has been loved.

We rented a villa in Benissa. Unless you want to spend all day in your villa i wouldnt bother. There is two shops for groceries and thats about it. No beach and maybe 2 bars. Dont think for a second you can survive without a car!! plus the stupid siestas will mess up all your plans anyway. The next town Morira has a few small pubs and some shopping. This is absolutly not a holiday resort but an extremely quiet nice place to relax. You might as well relax because there is nothing to do anyway.

@alistairarthur you got that right! its one long Siesta so take a big spliff ,you,ll need it .and the shop keepers may look half asleep but, they,ll sort change you every time then when you complain they just smile and put their stupid head on their hands as if imitating sleep position.they are after your girl friend ,your money and any thing else nice.

@geisterbahn1 If you want a holiday i highly reccomend sunny beach Bulgaria! The people are still nice there, and everything is sooooo cheap. you can find 50p pints but usually about £1 in beach front bars. 75% of bars have table dancers most of the night. £10 can get you a large steak meal and about 5 pints of beer. I dont know how many there are but within 10 minutes walk you will find no less than 10 lap dancing clubs. Spain has had its day. Its over for them!!
