Wow, that's pretty mild in comparison to Canada, here it's just blizzards (Not fun having to constantly plow snow from your driveway) and usually is a reciprocation of the late spring in temperature. (Anywhere from -10 to -35)

thank you for posting this video! :D I'm very curious as to what it's like in winter there. Is the air moist, or dry? In other words, is it bitter cold, or is the air dry enough that it's tolerable? And what's a normal winter temperature there?

It's not extremely cold in the winter. It's like -3 C or something. Maybe a little colder.

thanks! Here in Pennsylvania it gets pretty cold--well, ok, it's about the same temperature, but since it's a humid climate, it often feels much colder than it is.

*sigh* the more I learn about the Netherlands, the more I want to live there ^^

that is probably one of my favourite videos that i've seen you do eric! i love the way everything looks, the neat little trees and the cute buildings all along the waters edge, and SO many people! and that little party hut where they were making crêpes was so cool. you made me want to go visit the netherlands, so many tiny little cultural differences that i don't have where i am. xD

I love little video tours of where people abroad (not in the US) live. My Mom, who was Dutch and lived there until she was 15, used to tell me about ice skating on the canals. She never went back after WWII because she said she couldn't stand to see her country altered after the war.

We normally don't get a lot of snow, not in the west where I live. And the water freezes, yes, but not as good as this. Normally the waters where I was walking on aren't frozen. But this year is just a cold year haha..
