What disappoints me is that it was actually entertaining with Meowth around. However, I'm dating these feelings back to the old episodes. Does anyone remember Ghost of Maiden's Peak? Or the St. Anne episode where Team Rocket and them work together? Or how about Holy Matrimony? I loved episodes when some light was shed on Team Rocket. I miss the fun episodes like these. Besides, something has always told me that they all aren't 100% evil.

With Jessie & James being with him for so long it would be hard for me to imagine them just dropping him off the face of the planet. Anytime they had troubles before they all fell apart because they were/are such a strong trio. Their "goodbye" seems a bit far fetched but I can't say what could happen. I think it would be an interesting change for him to travel with Ash (I guess) but idk. Depends on what they do with it. They've already changed EVERYTHING except Ash. HE IS SO STAGNANT. *CRY*
1. Everytime Meowth left Team Rocket before, it was because he QUIT. This time, he was FIRED. By Giovanni himself.
2. Meowth HATES Persian. He will NOT evolve into one. Seriously. Expecting Meowth to evolve is the same as expecting Pikachu to. It just won't happen.

Thanks for correcting me about the Pikachu bit anyway, it has been a lot of episodes.
1. The first one he loved (a female Meowth named Meowzie) chose to go with his old Persian boss (from when he was in a Meowth gang) even though Meowth kicked his ass.
2. Giovanni owns a Persian as his "Top Cat", making Meowth despise it more. HE wants to be his "Top Cat".
3. The SECOND one he loved (a woman with a Paras) kept a Persian as the mascot for her medicine store so that Meowth can keep doing good deeds with TR. (She was both oblivious to his love AND what TR stood for.)
Let's say, you had someone you loved, and then she chooses to go with your boss instead. Next time you love someone, SURPRISE! He's with her instead, although somehow he lost his job. NEXT, you are working your ass off to be in the Top of your new boss' ranks, and then you find your old boss is at the Top when you didn't know he was even in the same business as you, and he barely did anything.
Would you be jealous, or would you just flat out hate him?

Since he is with Ash now, he is more likely to evolve. i'm guessing he will also take meowth to the next region. Besides, Meowth doesn't need a stone to evolve, so it will probably evolve

That doesn't magically change now that he's with Ash and co. The closest thing to evolving that may happen will be like Piplup, where he is able to evolve, but he fights to prevent it.
He did himself. After hearing the story of Tyson's Meowth, who also hates Persians (although for different reason, and has a far GREATER hatred, to where after defeating one in the Hoenn Cup, it attempted to keep attacking it), Meowth viewed him as a kindred spirit.

I knew that Meowth was going to go back to Team Rocket.
However, after so many years of the same things, you have to admit this was a big surprise and could have been a huge turning point in the series.

Meowth has ALWAYS done what he wanted, even before Team Rocket.
If he did evil, it was because he wanted to. If he did good, it was because he wanted to. Same goes for Jessie and James as well. The only thing the 3 really give a damn about is each other.

With Jessie & James being with him for so long it would be hard for me to imagine them just dropping him off the face of the planet. Anytime they had troubles before they all fell apart because they were/are such a strong trio. Their "goodbye" seems a bit far fetched but I can't say what could happen. I think it would be an interesting change for him to travel with Ash (I guess) but idk. Depends on what they do with it. They've already changed EVERYTHING except Ash. HE IS SO STAGNANT. *CRY*

Things for people to realize:
1. Everytime Meowth left Team Rocket before, it was because he QUIT. This time, he was FIRED. By Giovanni himself.
2. Meowth HATES Persian. He will NOT evolve into one. Seriously. Expecting Meowth to evolve is the same as expecting Pikachu to. It just won't happen.

But that's beside the point. Meowth HATES Persian with a passion. Why would he want to become one?
And by your logic, we should expect Pikachu to actually evolve, despite being the MASCOT for Pokemon.

1. The first one he loved (a female Meowth named Meowzie) chose to go with his old Persian boss (from when he was in a Meowth gang) even though Meowth kicked his ass.
2. Giovanni owns a Persian as his "Top Cat", making Meowth despise it more. HE wants to be his "Top Cat".
3. The SECOND one he loved (a woman with a Paras) kept a Persian as the mascot for her medicine store so that Meowth can keep doing good deeds with TR. (She was both oblivious to his love AND what TR stood for.)

Let's say, you had someone you loved, and then she chooses to go with your boss instead. Next time you love someone, SURPRISE! He's with her instead, although somehow he lost his job. NEXT, you are working your ass off to be in the Top of your new boss' ranks, and then you find your old boss is at the Top when you didn't know he was even in the same business as you, and he barely did anything.
Would you be jealous, or would you just flat out hate him?

You're also implying that he knew Rocket's Persian enough to begrudge the entire species. Meowth's dream is really to become top cat again, it has nothing to do with the Rocket's Persian. I was using "your boss" as an example because no two people look the same (and I obviously can't bring race into examples, can I?)
If you can't even get this, you have no place in an argument.
This shouldn't even be argued. Meowth is an icon. Persian is not. Again, it'd be the same as Pikachu evolving. (Don't give me the "it almost happened!" shit. Pika was OFFERED twice, but turned both times down.)

Nice phrasing, but that's not the point. I agree that Meowth is an icon and I don't expect it to happen, though obviously you can't say that he hates the idea either. They pulled an unexpected move with Meowth leaving Team Rocket and now I'm only wondering how his character will develop.
They bothered us with both the Rocket and the Pikachu scenario until one actually happened

@GoldenYuiitusin well no-one expected him to join Team Rocket, but it still happened. You'll never know what'll happen in pokemon. Since he is with Ash now, he is more likely to evolve. i'm guessing he will also take meowth to the next region. Besides, Meowth doesn't need a stone to evolve, so it will probably evolve

That doesn't magically change now that he's with Ash and co. The closest thing to evolving that may happen will be like Piplup, where he is able to evolve, but he fights to prevent it.

He did himself. After hearing the story of Tyson's Meowth, who also hates Persians (although for different reason, and has a far GREATER hatred, to where after defeating one in the Hoenn Cup, it attempted to keep attacking it), Meowth viewed him as a kindred spirit.

@Pockey234 I think this is just a sceme and I think he will rejoin the Rocket gang after the " 1 hour special episode" (The battle subway episode) that is coming this upcoming weekend.
I've heard rumors about some sort of scheme :)
