A bigger IC wont make it any cooler either, it's an IC not a rad. The IC will just cool the charge temps. To keep engine running cooler, you need more air flow. So bonnet spacers/cold air feeds, bigger rads ARE usefull.

These cars run a 88 degree thermostat. You can then uprate it to 82 degree thermostat, and use uprated fan switch. These engines are known to run hot.

SO, weather it looks good or not, it's FOR BENEFIT, nothing really to do with style.
