OS is operating system...every phone comes with it, it basically allows your phone to function...but yea you should be able to play youtube from your blackberry browser by default..

I' m getting mind this friday. Does anyone knows which video format works with the media player of the 8900 ? like does it plays mp4? avi etc...

yea it plays those plus more..but mp4 is the best tho. it plays movies in high quality and looks crisp.
