You play a lot of the songs in the same way I was taught. I was taught by a guy named Jeff. He's a really great guitar teacher who taught "chord melodies" where he would play jazzy songs and bring out the melody. You wouldn't know him would ya? :)

BTW, it sounds really great at the end to do: F9, E9, then end on an Eb6-9 (for your key, do it A9, Ab9, then G6-9)!
