  • I did this yesterday! my first ever bread baking experience and it turned out wonderful!!

    I made 3 varieties: one with nutella, another with cinnamon, raisins, butter and brown sugar and the third with mozzarella cheese and thyme and all turned out great. Thank you!!

  • @SaranghaeLeeteuk92 yeast is a microorganism used in baking to ferment the dough, producing CO2 gas bubbles trapped in the dough which will cause the dough to rise, which is how you get soft and fluffy bread! =) Basically its function is more or less the same as baking powder's, but baking powder is more commonly used in cakes while yeast is usually used in breads and buns only.

    8g sugar is about 1 tablespoon

    2g salt is about 1/4 teaspoon I used warm milk, but cold milk is okay too, though it takes longer for the dough to rise.

  • @payish Thank you for watching! Are you talking about the sesame seeds instead? :) If so, then yes, you can replace the sesame seeds with flax seed. The egg wash though, was only added for color.

  • @EasyChineseFood ...no in the dough u have used one egg...for that i wanted to know the substitute....can flaxseed work??

  • @payish You can remove the egg if you want, it won't change the taste of the bread. I don't know whether or not flaxseed would work as a substitute though, so you will have to experiment with that by yourself.
