@jesusfreeeks What happened to God being the judge and you loving your neighbour? If it's a sin, they're going to hell anyway as their punishment, so why should you care? Surely God will decide what to do as he is 'all knowing' and we cannot comprehend God's plan. Thus, by your own merits, you shouldn't judge other's choices and you should accept their choices as their own. Live and let live, you know.

The world tells lies, the Bible tells truth. If people who want to love God don't know that it's not okay to have sex with someone other than a legal spouse of the opposite sex, who's going to tell them? Of course, this is only for people who are christian. nonchristians can do all the perverted stuff they want really. They only have the law to live by, not God's justice. But nevertheless people need to know the loving words of God.

The problem I see with their conclusions is that they are being affirming of homosexuality. They cannot do that for homosexual christians. I don't know if McLaren believes Christ is big enought to fix the sin in our hearts, that if we repent we CAN change. If he did, he would tell that girl to repent (which Christ tells us to do).

Terrible, as are the reste of their conversations. They go against what every gay outreach says when reaching the gay community for Christ. All they have to do is ask those that are out there reaching them daily to find that we need to teach truth and love them. Yes it is sin, and yes Christ can save you and help heal you. Listening to McLaren is like listening to the devil sweet talking Eve in the garden. He is a liar and a manipulator of scripture. Telling gays to repent of their sinful lifestyle and turn to Christ is what the Bible tells us to do. McLaren is telling us they can be gay and Christian. This is false; he is false; Willow Creek is false. These phony churches are churning out heresy in the name of Christ; it is blasphemy and it is a work of satan. The wolves are in the sheepfold, folks.

Willow Creek is a feel good church of the rich: rich bankers, and selfish lawyers. The gospel is sugar coated, and the congregation is shallow, paranoid, mid-west white republicans who put themselves in culture without really seeing God's world. The leaders of this church lack understanding of sound theology.

The congregation blindly holds George W.(Grandson to a Nazi war criminal who tried overthrow our government) in high esteem as he slowly slowly dismantles OUR Country and OUR Constitution, who was ordained by God, Beware: this is a church of nothing more than a empty, feel-good, cultural handshaking phenomena. Christ's message to us had no cultural relevance, but was relevant to humanity and love through his actions. Do not be deceived, the pastors are blinded by their own wanting to be accepted and fear of losing the congregation, and Willow Creek is no exception. The duality of their Gospel to include all before His return is broken by the social handshaking buddy system and ill-fated political values
