the reason theres ome populations in india who look chinese is because refugees crossing from china to india and afganistan for a better life! chinese or nepalese girls marry hindu and sikh guys who have money and buisnesses! i have seen this when i went to u.p. india last year. men who are old or can;t marry in their caste, go over the border and buy wives from nepal.

The mind set of most North East Indians is seriously flawed. They don't consider themselves Indian despite being heavily dependant on the Government for most resources. They think the Government helps them to avoid separatism without realizing that they'll be the biggest burden on the country as refugees when the Chinese throw them out. Look back the History!! For hundreds of years Vast India was under foreign Turkish/Arab/Turko-Mongol(Mughal)/British rulers. However Manupir was under British rule only for few years. May be this has created a huge gap in the culture. So virtually manipur is under slave dynasty called Mayangs(or if you wish you can call the vast majority of india who has been slaves of Sultans/mughals/British)
