  • god i miss lost...

  • lol

This is funny a bit with this music xD

'They are smart animals" (and the music is loud xD)

  • people who call locke a bad man, are way beyond understanding that he could have easily killed someone one by one, which could have been the reason they formed a cult conspiracy called "the others" the man was broken , but he was never really capable of breaking rules of sanity , he knew when he could walk it was destiny and as he said to jack "crazy people dont know they are going crazy they think they are getting saner" locke had a beginning and ending for a purpose for a reason.

  • I really miss that show :( !!

  • Hhh

  • wow awesome.the Jacob/man in black connection.

  • Locke is the best.

  • Jack a great chracter of lost

  • Locke is a great character

  • Dude's that's awesome.

Yeah, as landenundetakerfan said, Locke's not evil, but maybe it's just a littel look into the future, since MIB later overtakes Locke's body...

But cool! But where's the link for the Jacob/MIB-one?

  • Seems like I catch something new every time I go through Lost, every time I think they didn't answer something, I rewatch an episode in a new light and find an answer (well, most of the time). Great writing.

  • I don´t like the new Lost music that much.

  • BEST EVER TV SERIES!!! !00% more advance class. THIS IS THE OPINION DUE TO RESULTS OF 80% OF PEOPLE . THE ONLY ONE SERIES WITH SPECIAL ACTORS FOLLOWED BY THE HEROES. PLS MAKE GOT MAKE THE LOST RETURN SERIES FOR 2011!!!

  • Wow, I wouldnt of ever put this together.. but then again this show confused the heck out of me..

  • i'm guessing. LOCKE & JACK were the new JACOB & MIB . & they couldnt kill each other.

  • That's weird. Cause MIB became Locke and Jack became Jacob....

  • I watched Hearts and Minds again, and noticed even more connections with this scene and the opening of "The Incident." "Mind if I join you?" is verbatim in both. They are talking about food in both. One explains to the other that patience is a virtue, "...everything else is just progress" ....Plus reference to humans being "bad"...."the most dangerous predator of all."

  • My mind has been blown. :-O

  • i hated Jack until the final season where he realized locke was right

  • Yea shit was the BeSt ! Till that last season ! I mean COME ON SON !

  • the music's exactly the same too, I'm pretty sure...

  • @bakerstreetbookworm

This music wasnt there. It was dubbed over just for this video.

  • @sinkingship101

Oh, okay. Too bad, that would've have been crazy!

  • @sinkingship101

ah, that makes sense, then :)

  • what is the last episode? seson 6 what episode?

  • @buneaalexpetru season 6 episodes 17/18 called "The End"

  • best show ever

  • flocke ftw

  • awesome

  • WOW!!!! I forgot about this scene. Holy crap I feel like an idiot for not noticing the parallel

  • jack = jacob

    John = MiB

listen to the last thing John says about man being the world's most dangerous predator. Then listen to what the MiB says about how man is evil and corruptable.

  • I'm sick and tired of people saying that Locke is the nemesis, it's the Man In Black, not Locke, and as Jack said in the finale, The Man In Black is a disgrace to John Locke's memory by wearing his face, so stop calling Locke evil, or at least call him FLocke gawd dammit!!!!!!

  • frajeru nadamse da neću završit ko ti , ali bojim se da ipak budem lol. thumbs up anyway

  • jack should have worn a black sweater for that take :-P

  • @Arawanach You mean white? Since Jack becomes the new Jacob and Locke as the nemesis.

  • @IVisionLive

no, I mean black :-P since Locke was sitting there first, like Jacob looking over the ocean. And Jack coming there as the second person... like the man in black.

And beside, you forget one thing. John was a believer. At that point, John was not evil. Just like the man in black wasn't always evil he either.

Black/darkness doesn't always mean bad/evil. You know it was the light that made the man in black become evil? So the light is actually a bad thing. Jacob isn't pure in any way

  • This has a slightly scary feeling about it, I've never even noticed the comparison up until now..

  • that was kinda creepy.

  • Really interessting that Jack took MIB´s Part in this

  • It's the same exact music too!!!! Cool!!

  • @monalisasmiles4you

I think this was added...He says so in the info ! :)

  • @monalisasmiles4you the one who made this video added the music in the background, this song wasn't there in the first season

  • the 'man in black' is not a bad person, he has been prisoned and trapped on this island for his whole life and he just wants to leave because he see's no point in staying because theres no point protecting it. But he will do whatever he has to do to leave the island, even if it means killing people. Nice find btw =), jack is the new jacob and locke is the man in black so it just shows the writers had this planned from the start

  • @Jackandwwe The MIB (the real one) isn't bad but the smoke monster pretending he's him IS and he has other plans when he gets off the Island.

  • @Jackandwwe They didn't have it planned, though.

  • @ViciousMihael you can't know that for sure

  • @mecavity They said on the special before the finale that they weren't sure on pretty much anything when the show was starting out. So I'm pretty sure.

  • If people think MiB is bad.. everyone has their flaws: Just because MiB kills people and Jacob does not, it doesn't mean one is good/bad or wrong/right. This can be reflected with Jack/Locke: Locke killed Naomi and blew up the sub but in the end he did it for the best interest of everyone. Jack fixes people but eventually couldn't be bothered helping a dying Ben in the 1970s as Jacob couldn't be bothered caring for Ben "What about you?".

  • @stayupthere thats what i been saying... also, MiB doesnt want ppl to come on the island. he knows how bad it is and hates it. The island destroys ppls lives and imprisons them but jacob for some reason, sees them coming to island as "progress"

  • @stayupthere but the MiB didnt help ben, it was that pool in the temple that didnt save syed

  • @moemoney012 Apparently, MIB brought Sayid back to life.

  • okay I don't wanna mess with darlton's flow and I LOVE LOST, don't get me wrong but it would've been awesome if oceanic6 would've never left the island and Jack would've been always like dammit I wanna leave bla bla and then Locke would've been all like you need to stay and won't let him leave.

Then at the end of season 5 (aka season6) jacob and mib are dead and last scene would be like the incident was only with jack (as new mib) and locke (as new jacob). Jcak wants to leave, john wont let him

  • nice find

  • There's probably a reason they played Jacob's theme in the background of this scene.

  • @ashtontupper BolusTube added the song to this scene ;)

wow but I think this really means something.. almost the same conversation!

  • wow do you think they did this on purpose?

  • Mind fuck

  • anyone knows the song??

  • @oFinesse. the song is jacobs song.when jacobs first discoverd thats the song,b4 he has his first meeting with m.i.b on beach when m.i.b says do you no how bad i want to kill you

  • Wow!!! That's just awesome!!!

  • It's a reach.

best part of lost, and all these YT videos are the tangents and lengths people will theorize on .. i love it

but yeah, this one, not holding any water

although I believe jack to be a likely jacob replacement.. i don't think this scene was any more then that conversation

  • SHIT!

  • this is just to show that in the end locke will be the black smoke monster and that jack will take jacobs place .

  • Woah the parallels are uncanny. I don't think it was all planned out, but you can definitely see the foundations of what the show is now from the early episodes.

  • i bet the creators are glad someone picked this up

  • is that the original music that was playing here? cause if it was, then allusions can be found through:

-jack asking if locke had seen any ships, while jacob and MIB talked as the ship the Black Rock approached

-Juxtaposition between Jack approaching Locke, while in the other scene it was MIB who approached Jacob

-Jacob is eating while they talk, and in this one they talk about boar (food)

    -and of course, the music

  • More proof they had this planned all along. Great writing.

  • I bet you that the final chapter will be similar than this one, Jack and MIB turned into Locke

  • @NFW34 Its going to be Sawyer and JAck in the ned on the beach

  • i just noticed something else.

in the scene with jacob and nemesis on beach, MIB says how he wants to kill jacob. in the episode of locke's and jack's confrontation with all their people, jack pulls the trigger to try to kill locke.

LOCKE IS AWESOME AND SHOULD DEFINETLY BE THE SAVIOUR! THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE

  • @Paradoxx211 locke was pathetic. he was nothing more than the man in black's puppet. he was being conned the whole show, he was obeying the man in black and doing everything he wanted. John Locke wasnt a believer, he was a sucker.

  • @dude48124 That may be true, but as Jack said in the finale: "It turns he was right about most everything"

  • @Rude666 Not really, he believed there was some spiritual divine reason. That it was fate that they were there. But it was Jacob, not the island, and they were brought there as pawns to be used

  • @Paradoxx211 Reading this now makes me sad to know you were so wrong :(

  • BolusTube Rocks !!!

  • I think once we learn more about Jacob, we'll see he's not as good as some people say he is.

  • @mrm87 has jacob ever killed anyone? man in black has killed lots of people plus jacob always wants to see good in people, man in black is convinced everyone is corruptable - which one do u think is the good guy now?

  • @DrunkLad91 just because jacob doesn't kill anyone doesn't mean he has no ulterior motives. we know even less about him than we do about MIB. by the end of the series, we might see why MIB is killing people; jacob could be good, but he may not be. that's all i was trying to say.

  • @mrm87 good point - i just hate all the mystery and were only 5 or 6 episodes away from the end - i think some of the mysteries should have been explained earlier like walt and his powers

  • @DrunkLad91 yeah, i have a feeling not everything about the series will be answered. however, i think most of the major questions will be answered. we can only hope there will be a Jacob/MIB centric episode explaining the roots behind their conflict.

  • @mrm87 there will be a jacob/mib centric episode - its called "Across the sea" - from what i read the episode will show no current stars like jack, sawyer or hurley etc just jacob, man in black and other people from their era - i cant wait for it!

  • @DrunkLad91 i think walt's mystery has already been answered.....

  • @DrunkLad91 The man in black is right. and jacob is ruining peoples lives just to proove him wrong - which one do u think is the good guy now?

  • @dude48124 man in black kills innocent people and manipulates them into killing jacob - mib is evil and jacob is good - now who is the good guy? a guy tht brings people to the island to test them or a guy that turns into black smoke and slaughters them???

  • @DrunkLad91 The man in black only kills people if they've sinned.

  • its even more interesting when jacks says "any ships" or whatever he said because thats what mib came to jacob to talk about, i have a feelin that jack is the new candidate and ofcourse flocke is the man in black so yeah gonna be interesting

  • HOLY SHIT!!! What an amazing find!!! The music and the shots are EXACTLY the same with Jack as Jacob and Locke and the Man In Black. This is some brilliant foreshadowing.

  • Even the music is teh same.. damn, this is some cool show

  • Wow, I never noticed this before! Wow.. :-D

  • WAHOW! Never notice this. Fantastic. But Locke is actually dead, supposedly, and mib is in lockes form. I can definitely see jack a jacob. jack could even be short for jacob. very interesting to see how this plays out.

  • an awesome point!

  • Jack is MIB and Locke is Jacob.

  • @mrm87 it will be so fantastic;

  • i swear i knew something was up when i saw this i was like DAMMNNNN the conversation is almost exact LOVE IT!!!

  • Hmm, so John Locke does things initially that keep everyone on the island, like Jacob, and Jack will do anything to get off.

  • Fun factor:

In the book "Lord of the Flies", the bad kids tend to hunt pigs and boars whilst the good kids eat berries or what they can find.

  • and yes! LOST is the best show ever seen in the world!

    mythic!

  • @DOWSER68 THE BEST EVER.

  • the parallel is disturbing

  • War is coming

  • i think jacub is testing the caidates by seeing which "cares" the most about the island and saving it from mib and thats why we are seeing a episode with every canidate... so far i think hurly will be the next jacub

  • kewl vid man

  • notice how negative locke is talking about humans, like the biggest predator of all and bla bla, exactly as MIB said to Jacob: "they come, they fight, they destroy, they corrupt.." this scene could easily be the last scene we see in lost finale...

  • it would make sense if jack was to become the new jacob.

  • OMG

  • dang thats intresting. does this mean that jack could be the main candidate to replace jacob since techincally locke replaced MIB/Esau

  • @LeRoseBassist13 I actually thought Locke resembled Jacob and Jack resembled MIB here. Remember that Jack always wanted off the island like MIB, while Locke wanted to stay like Jacob.

And I agree with CosmicUndeadElf about this pattern going on for quite a while.

  • lol

  • however it ends it will still be the best tv show in the world =)

  • hell yeah it will be!!

but still, I don't want it to end:S

  • @Krackometer as long as it dont end like the sopranos

  • @Krackometer mmm probably has been the worst end possible :(

  • Comment removed

  • @Krackometer disagree.

  • @Krackometer Yeah, i mean except for The Wire... and The Sopranos... And Six Feat Under oh and Breaking Bad, and I guess Oz as well, Oh and yeah Mad Men, plus Homicide not to mention Boardwalk Empire and Treme. Also if we're counting comedies, Arrested Development, The Office UK and Qi. sorry, i love Lost but it can't touch the HBO greats. I mean The Wire is just Flawless and you really can't say that about Lost.

  • @JackMoranRain yes I totally agree all very good shows

  • @JackMoranRain Ehh The Sopranos wasn't flawless either, haven't seen all of The Wire but so far I'd agree and Breaking Bad just borrows too much from films for me to agree whereas Lost did something truly original

  • So does this make Jack parallel to Flocke?

  • no jack to jacob

  • Whatever Jacob and Mr Dark actually are, I think they are bonded to the island and as a result the issues between them effect the lives of people on the island. One of them wants to save the island, one believes it doesn't matter, just like the arguments between Jack and Locke, and the way that there are always 2 sides, Jack vs Locke, Ben vs Widmore, Richard vs Horace, etc

  • We will never know if these theories are true or not. There are very few episodes left and there is no wish from the scriptwriters to explain anything. Next episodes will be just the same as we saw until now: new mysteries unresolved. But the main feature of lost are the enigmas they give us and how we, the audience, try to find a logic answer for everything. This WON'T change in the coming...9 episodes. Time to be realistic. The show is not going to change in the last episodes.

  • Are u joking? we get new answers for every episode in season 6, and no more questions are coming..

  • I hope there won't be too many questions!

  • you added the music lol I saw this ep the other day well done though

  • Dude, be honest, did you add the music?

Because if you didn't, I'm totally on board.

Except, now the Man in Black is obviously Locke, who wants nothing BUT to get off the island and thinks that their isn't anything special about it, and Jack is Jacob because he believes so desperately that the island is special

  • he did add the music just to make the parallel clearer...

  • the most convincing part of this theory is carlton cuse wrote this episode and he also wrote the incident! :)

  • wow great theory man i think in the end jack will be the new man in black and locke will be the new jacob.

  • 'Cept that Locke is dead.

  • Locke died, though.

  • "The most dangerous predator of all".

Becuase they came to his island? :P

  • Comment removed

  • wow! good find!

  • @supaflyjediguy52 fail he added the music

  • Oh man. Too awesome to be a coincidence.

  • i wanna bang kate anyone got her phone number

  • @triggypoo nope, but i got ure mums.

  • @triggypoo hahahahaha

  • Yeah, I should of seen that in the description. Now that thats for sure, I think its safe to say that this scene was not meant to be in any way parallel with the jacob and MIB scene. Its just jack sitting down and talking to locke on the beach, this happened plenty of times with other characters as well.

  • of course it is a parallel...the conversation is almost exactly the same...and Jacob's conflict with MIB seems to mirror the conflict between Jacob and MIB in the hatch....Jack and MIB are essentially men of science and Jacob and Locke are men of faith...the parallel is crystal clear IMHO

  • @Windmill360 dude, MIB is supposed to portray Locke as the man of science, I think. At least now that the real Locke is dead.

Jack is totally the man of faith now, look at pretty much EVERY scene he was in in Season 5.

  • but that's what I said...sorta....in season 2 Jack was the man of science just like fake locke right now....jack became a man of faith after having left the island and coming back...the point is the guy I replied said that there was no parallel between Jack/Locke and and MIB/Jacob when its clearly there...

  • The music is edited people!

  • I could be wrong though....

  • @dustintml read the description it even says the theme (music) was added.

  • For some reason I think that there was no music playing in the scene in the actual episode. Obviously I can't remeber for sure, but it just seems like a scene where there woudn't be music playing.

  • I don't know if this music is actually playing in the real scene. The person who posted this video may have just put that music in. So this might not have anything to do with the Jacob/Nemsis thing.

  • jack is the monster

  • No, he is not

  • @rocky2936 sry, what i meant was jack is the equivalent of the monster because lost s06e01 says that john locke wanted to stay on the island but the monster wanted to go. Locke has always been telling jack to stay but jack said your done keeping me on this island.

  • u are lost

  • @quickchaos2009 i am found

  • I also dont belive they can answer all our questions. Anyway, i will watch next episode streamed on internet through direct-satellite (dot) tk

  • when all is said and done,im beggining doubt about a logical end for LOST.i mean,so much stuff has taken place,so much mistery, numbers, smoke,"others",richard alpert, travel time, dead people walking around.how could the directors make it coherent in the end?

  • They will. I'm sure.

  • really well spotted

  • jack asks "any ships" lock "not yet but im patient" in the parallel scene the black rock is there!

  • wow. very nice - I never noticed that. nice find! theses writers have such a great ability to be subtle.

  • i think Lost is about a "game" you win or you loose, and the trick is not to loose or your "Lost"

  • Not bad. I think the fact that "they come. they corrupt. they destroy. it always ends the same." is significant that humanity is evil/unwise, according to MIB but Jacob believes the opposite. The title, LOST, could have several meanings but as a whole, i think it is the struggle between light and dark, good and evil, right and wrong. MIB believes in fate. Jacob believes in infinite destinies. And those who are on the side of evil those, who are on the wrong side, are truly LOST.

  • Jacob is the only intelligent one, really: he realizes that any of humanities squabbles, disguised as some kind of good vs evil bullshit or not, are essentially meaningless since all people are too unique to all ultimately conform to a singular cause(IE: It is impossible for any one side of anything to ever "win"). So, essentially, if man doesnt wipe itself out, all that's left is progress.

  • Well stated. I think you just summed up the entire series haha

  • The realty is more complex. People are torturing their spirits to know who is the bad or who is the good. I think that there is no Good Side and Bad Side, it's a game, there is only opposites.

  • the writers of this show are amazing. wow.

  • Haha, I noticed this while I was rewatching season 1 the other week too! I like the music you added. It totally changed the mood of the scene. : )

  • which episode from which season is this please

  • @vesi1986 hearts and minds

  • thank you i see it in german but without the music, they talk about other things, only the boat, but i cant see paralells, but nice video with the music

  • No that is not the original music that played during this scene. It was clearly added from the Season 5 finale.

And you people call yourselves Lost fans? For shame...

  • Comment removed

  • I noticed the same parallels when rewatching the entire first 5 seasons...

This scene is too eerily similar to the opening of the season 5 finale...

  • hey, tell me something, does that soundtrack that plays over Locke's scene was actually in that episode? Because if it did, then you're 100% correct.

  • I doubt it. And I would say this looks more as a coincidence, even for such a well constructed series like Lost.

  • Haha when I heard this music under this scene that was the first question popping in my had aswell!
