As someone in the safety profession it was frustrating to watch the "rescuers" being exposed to harmful emissions and to be told to mind our own business when we tried to say anything about the conditions. It was obvious the workers were being overexposed but "these are heroes", we were told but now we are paying the price for not protecting these workers. The more victims there are, the greater is the terrorists' victory; we need to do a whole lot better than this...

It is the same after every major government invovlement where there is some type of human poisoning involved. They deny the claims just like thousands of GI's from Vietnam who were contaminated from Agent Orange and 100 thousands more when they passed to their children some defective genes that mutated over time. I don't trust mainstram/brainwashing media, not our news here or nbc or cnn in the US. I listen to people who been there, firefighters or paramedics. It's a fact Giuliani is responsible for the non-working radios, the EPA told them "the air is safe"...thats why thousands of brave first responders and rescuers are sick and dying...and this is no crap, these are facts.
