  • And for the record the B body iron LT1 heads low more than the Aluminum vette/Camaro heads.

  • Comment removed

  • yes they will run on carb set up, also, the lt1's make more torque down low, over a ls1, due to the small efficiant intake runner, and excelent exhaust flow numbers, nice set-up

  • what carb did you ues?

  • Lmao you fine tune it and put headers on it and rate it with no accessories and say it made as much at the Fuel Injection car from the factory quite the skewed test if you ask me

  • I am starting with a LT1 Long block.. out of a Highway Patrol Camaro 1993. I have put the intake highrise on it the omni spark cover and I have learned tricks to do with it.. I will answer anyones questions if you have any.. I will send pics till I get it done.. I put roller rockers on it too.I am putting it in a 1960 chevy stepside shortbed with a 1965 front clip.. mr_stevie_d@yahoo.com also I painted it 1965 chevy orange too.Not sure how much hp I will have but it has a 330 hp crank

  • how much of an improvement did u get over F-INJ- ? Hp/TQ

  • i got a carb on my lt1 in my monte carlo its got so much power. is this a stock motor with a carb?

  • What brand carb did you use? Whats the CFM?

  • whats the cam?

  • @miamibitch305fl

Stock GM cam. I only changed out what was necessary for the carburetor for the most part.

  • @kings114 so its a bone stock LT1 with a carb intake??

  • who said a carb on the lt1-lt4 would not work i have done it myself just not to a lt4 but a corvette 300 hp lt1 and it went into an 85 monte ss post a video soon! what carb did you use?

  • I guess what everyone trying to say, how did you make the swap worked from fuel injection to carb. and how were you able to move the distributor from the front to the back and what all was done to make that work. what type of intake you have? I guess what we all want to know, what step by step you took to pull this off when others say you cant run a carb on an LTI. I have an LTI and trust me, when I say I have just a block, I have just an empty block, but want to make it into a carb as well.

  • i was thinking about doing this swap to my lt1 that im going to put in my 92 camaro. what are the thing i need to do this? do i have to change out the balancer. and the dist just pop it in on the new intake do i need to change out the oil put or add somthing. thanks.

  • yes they do run !! i have a 1995 pontiac trans am that i pulled the motor out of and rebuilt the whole thing and switched it over to a carb! 4.030 bore stock stroke forged summit crank KB forged flat tops total seal gapless tops rings stock heads not much room to port on the stock aluminum heads but i put racing valves and springs in it 306 duration cam 1.5 rockers comp push rods i would like to know more about your alls application here was it just a manifold and carb swap or was it built>?

  • @DMJ400ex This is not a rebuild, it is very close to a stock swap to a carburetor.
