The King James version of the Bible adds words so according to the original script it is as corrupt as any other translation. All the italicized words in the King James are added. Did you know that?

I'm very particular what translation I read The Complete Jewish Bible translated by Dr. David H. Stern is extremely acurate Dr. Stern is a Messianic Jew who just might know his language better than King James, & his translaters, who were terrified of him did. They corrupted Scripture to suit James whims. One of the most notable examples relate to baptism ~ & there are many others examples that I don't have space to go into. The New American Standard is another excellant translation.

The rapture is explicitly contradicted by the gospels. The rapture says the righteous will first be taken, then the wicked will be left behind. Matthew 13, Jesus says that the wicked will be taken first (and burned) and only the righteous will be left behind (Mt 13:24-30,36-43). The return of Christ is compared to the days of Noah, when the wicked were taken (drowned) and "Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark." (Gen7:23) The righteous must endure and make their election more secure.

I had learned about the fallacy of the rapture by studying Matthew 13 (v 24-30, 36-43), which says that the wicked will be taken first, and then the righteous will be left (exactly the opposite of the rapture myth). This explains why the second coming is compared to the days of Noah (Gen 7:23) and why we are told seven times we must endure (rev 2+3) and to make our election more secure (2 Peter 1:10).

What passages in Isaiah also corroborate this message?

If you read Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Hosea, you will understand that Israel was mislead by false shepherds/pastors and they would be scattered all over the world. Israel is 2 houses not 1. The House of Ephraim and the House of Judah. In the end there will be an exile greater than out of Egypt and Israel will be reunited under 1 House. Christ said he was sent for the lost sheep of the House of Israel. My understanding of the Bible requires no reinterpretation to fit this church or that church.

Now the flood is a picture of that time Two men were saved out of or from the flood. First there was Enoch; he was lifted out of the flood.
