I have a set of these hooked up to a Pioneer SX-1980 and they sound awesome. Sounds like I'm at a concert. Being only 21 years old, I didn't get to experience the concerts of the 80s with Pink Floyd and Journey but now I can get a little taste of what it was like.

i have a pair of these, had new foam surrounds installed and new grillcloths. i power mine with altec 1569a tube amps, one for each speaker. the sound is unreal.

I've memory of them like they were taller than the video shows, anyway they are among the gems of the JBL's gold-era.

Fantastic! I was lucky enough to snag a set of these the other day . They need a little cosmetic work but otherwise perfect. This is my first set of JBL's and I am very impressed. Enjoy!!
