  • Fresh Prince In Bel Air drums!

  • I loved this song at the tender age of 9! Now at the old age of 27 I understand it.

  • I like this song, but I prefer the album version. This is slightly remixed to make it sound more poppy.

  • @laserdiscphan Agreed. I just came from the Glamor Boyz video, and same thing.

Guess the remixes are for the videos?? Anyway, I like the originals best too. Owned their first 4 or 5 discs the day they came out. =)

  • Awesome band. Too bad they didn't go farther. I miss them.

  • 6 people have NOTHINGNESS between their ears. FUCKING BRILLIANT by Corey and Co. !!!!

  • i got a muppets ad, thats okay.

  • fabulous, mesmerizing, amazing, best... thank!

  • this band is so awesome im am so freaking late why was this great music hidden from me

  • the bad part of this band always been the recording side.....and honestly even if they are good musicians they are not that good songwriting there is a big difference.....

  • Once again . came here to see living colour . not vevo or katey lousy perry.

  • Truly, one of the greatest Rock and Roll bands the music industry has ever seen.

What gigantic talents these men are...shame on the industry for not showing them the fame they so richly deserved.

    Corey

    Vernon

    "Muzz"

    Will

Thank you for the memories and the stellar music you have left us with.

  • @countrysamurai While Muzz is the man... Its actually Doug Wimbish on this track... He deserves alot of respect aswell

  • @Elido Thank you for the heads up...I knew Doug came later but not on this track.

  • Great song, but fuck Vevo.

  • Awesomeness.

  • vevo is so full of shit. I will not watch this movie nor buy anything they pitch for 2 years

  • yes a very exceptionnal band with very great musicians !!

  • KEEP SPEAKING TO ME; AND NEVER STOP =)

  • I say thes mans are rock and soul

  • Living Colour... quite possibly the most underappreciated band of all time. Insanely talented guys! Jazz, metal, rock, funk, reggae, pop, these guys could do it all, and more importantly, sound amazing while doing it! xD

  • @AngelicStorm1

You're absolutely right. I don't know why I didn't open my eyes to them sooner.

  • The string section is a guitar synth. I remember being amazed by it.

  • Fucking Great Band, dammitt!

  • wimbish sos increible!

  • me too.......

  • me too

  • Living Colour reminds me Faith no More... I don't kown why, but its good to me

  • @HHHLGAMERHHH im disliking your comment because you dared to have a typo in the same sentence where CM PUNK'S name was mentioned

  • Pharahoes not even Close i kno Emcees 20 times better

  • nice guys, nice music, unbelievable musicians - met them in graz, a lot of years ago

  • If Black Rappers were as good as Black Rockers.. I'd like Rap... but until that day, I'll keep jamming out to a band that never made it as big as they should have! Living Colour always rocked!!! And.. for those of you that don't know it, they STILL ROCK!!!! :)

  • @omenwolfe

They are as good they just don't get air time.

  • @Joeybsmooth O I know some are, but I mean like the cleaner stuff man. You know, I miss the old days when RUN DMC was the big "IT" thing going on, ya know? It's just not the same anymore, not for rap, or any other genre, or so it seems. But Living Colour, well, they will always rock! :D

  • @omenwolfe

A lot of music just stinks now. Back when I was growing up someone like that Friday girl would never be famous .

  • @Joeybsmooth TRUE! I can totally agree with that one man! LOL...

  • @omenwolfe Check out Pharoahe Monch :) realest MC out there these days.

  • lady gaga as the background? no thanks :/

  • I rebought the Stain album a few month backs...only because I let a co-worker borrow it and he never gave it back. So...I went to Dimple Records and found the red jewel case edition for 1.99. I listened to the whole thing like 3 times last night. Stain still is my favorite Living Colour album. And I really dig the mix of this song. Anyone know where I can find a download? Kazaa peerhaps?

  • The group was underrated as a whole. They were probably one of the most original bands of the 90's, yet they got no attention. Stain is still a great album, some 18 yrs (give or take) later. Has anyone else heard the acoustic version of this song? Absolutely amazing.

  • Whats this original version everyone keeps going on about? I've only just go back into Living Colour after about 15 years, and this is the only version i've ever heard?

  • no me canso de oir esta cancion

  • @parkmaniacodelmal somos 2

  • I wish it was the 90's again

  • @killer600000 me too

  • wow! such a smooth sound.

  • awesome!

  • Where the fuck's the original?

  • @roskildahphreak Thats exactly what i was thinking

  • @NashVille62293 I got it on MP3 though if you need it real bad. Send me your mail in private if so

  • Sounds like a Seal 90s song, Great!

  • It's one of my favorite's band of the 90's. I discovered them in a concert in France, and WOW i took my firt spank in my face by the force of them nrj !! i missed them a lot...

  • @vinzoseerys You might want to go look around iTunes or similar. You'll find they are "back" and putting out music.

  • Most underrated band ever. They are awesome! Waiting for a new album, The Chair in the Doorway was great!

  • damn this video's trippy lol

  • I have not heard the original and this is my first exposure to this song, I got to say guys the original might be good too but this is also really goo, like if I had it on repeat it would take me about 5 go throughs be fore 1) i realized and 2) i cared enough to go to the next song. love it!

  • Don't like this version. Why do they feel the need to remix Living Colour songs??? It's a rock band for fuck's sake.

  • I much prefer the original. I guess they tampered with it to make it more "radio-friendly", and yet it still didn't do that well... maybe they should've left it alone

  • The orginal is alot more better. But this song is one of my all time favourites

  • NOT THE STUDIO ALBUM VERSION!!!

    Kind of groovy anyway :)

I like the original one better though...

  • One of the greatest songs from the 90's)

  • This is a remix. The original was far more haunting. I wish they had noted that in the description.

  • Just another fantastic piece from Living Colour, LC - thank you so much for your music, creativity, positive vibe and groove - absoolute kings of the unknown!!!

  • 20 years on there are few bands that can rival the incredible groove and skill of LC... awesome forever...

  • The original is way more eerie with the percussion in the back. Surely this is a Vevo remix.

  • Nothing last 4 ever!

  • esta no es la version original

  • Vernon Reid is doing an interview for Fret12.com... Submit any questions for him

  • My favorite song from Living Colour.Written by Drummer Will Calhoun.Cool video too.

  • TERRIBLE TEMA!!!!!ME ENCANTA LO ESCUCHABA EN LA SECUNDARIA Y LO SIGO ESCUCHANDO. LEJOS EL MEJOR TEMA DE LIVING COLOUR

  • TERRIBLE TEMA!!!!!ME ENCANTA LO ESCUCHABA EN LA SECUNDARIA Y LO SIGO ESCUCHANDO

  • Great band and great album!

  • @mrpsycho313 No doubt.Brings me good memories

  • hmm I somehow recall it less funky, maybe i got studio version in my head :)

  • Awesome album, Great song

    Takes me back X)

  • I love it! This is the story of my life. Great song!

  • @Spyrofan246 People just don't appreciate real talent anymore. Unfortunately, if you don't fit the stereotypical image of an artist (metrosexual bieber, trampy teen kesha) you're not worthy of musical greatness. That's the sad thing, there's absolutely nothing great about these artist today. They're talentless and have no character content. Hell, they can't even sing...they just look good in the spotlight.

  • too bad they fell off when they got too "New Jack"

  • love this group

  • A tremendous fluid fretless bass line ! Wimbish has the groove !

  • @Synequanon man the album was so bass awesome!

  • @Synequanon arre sure that's Wimbish ? I think he was not in LC at that time, was he ?

  • @musicplayer69 yep..he was..Doug tore it up!

  • @musicplayer69 Good question musicplayer69, It actually was the first album Doug played on

  • i love them! what a beautiful soul ! enlightened

    love light peace happiness

    ~namaste~

  • love this one :*

  • tremendous band. great performers.

  • Stain...underrated GREAT album of the 90's.

  • @sjk72 Staind...it's underated b/c it's fans are promoting the wrong album b/c 70%of them are either stupid like you or just plain worthless, never saw such a good band w/such a pitiful following. But yes Staind, in the Red case is a hugely underated album of the 1990's,this being the high point

  • @32Rainking Firstly, why are you so angry? Secondly, the album by Living Colour is called "Stain", not "Staind". "Staind" as you so eloquently put it, is a whiny, annoying band from 10 years ago(and has nothing to do with the subject of your little rant). You should really get your facts straight before you start criticizing people on the internet for no discernible reason. Have a nice day :)

  • @sjk72 NO-faggot idiot morons check their facts 1st,I'm right 98% of the time,so this time I was wrong,it doesn't happen much.I don't know why I'm so angry-maybe b/c this country sucks now and 75% of the people in the world &99% of mexicans just need to be executed.Maybe I long for the time when I listened to the album constantlyIDK-but I'm correct,it had a red case and the tape was red too.I didn't keep the case&I listened2 the tape so often the words wore off.

  • @sjk72 But I can't stress enough-I'd rather rely on my own brain&be wrong 2-4%of the time than have the internet function as my brain.I also hate that, another reason I'm angry;I also hate the spoiled rich people who control 95% of the money-the top 1%-I hate how weak people are-I hate that you can't have a fair one w/somebody in public w/o a bitch pusbag calling the cops,I hate Mentos-they suck-their texture&the fact they exist irritates me,so does theproduct called Selsen Blue,I hate cellphones

  • I get it sorry but you are right about me

  • this song is freaking awesome.

  • This song is SuperBad! Doug Wimbush on Bass is gettin'down!

  • Does anyone know what version this is? Is it available? It's not the original off Stain.

  • @ivebeenlewed2 I have a UK Nothingless single that has this version and two others.

  • @biglove38 Great! Thank you biglove.

  • @ivebeenlewed2 this version is not on Stain but Stain is available with a live performance on it

  • the lead singer sounds like SEAL are they still making music.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG WHEN IM DOWN;(

  • outstanding bass!

  • sounds like they talked with seal

  • I can't believe you wrote this, I was just thinking that he should do a cover...

PS Living Color was way before Seal, but big respect to Seal

  • living colour is freaking awesome.

  • rage against the machine and living color
