@jdstrings84 thanks dude! we dont have any recordings yet. this project has been pushed very far aside due to other life commitments. that violinist and i play in a progressive black metal band called ne obliviscaris. check it out in the mean time.
@cygnusbass I love the fact that you guys are doing everything from jazz to black metal. I am more on the metal side but I more recently broadened my tastes to the point where I listen to jazz and everything.
great job.. not a fan of violins but u did nicely include it. I LOVE the sound of that bass. amost depressing if you try to listen to it alone. but the sound of the violin makes a wonderful blend!
me and two friends do a very similar thing every weekend and i would really like to improve. Any bands or techniques you can recommend? I am on violin
I know this was Improvised, but it would be so cool if you recorded this and a couple of other things you guys have made. I would listen to this alot, the bass mesmerizes me, I like the feeling you guys put into this. Amazing work guys, 10/10 (FYI I dont rate things to often =P)
hey dude yeah its just a cheap steinberger spirit bass. they are not in production anymore but you can find them on ebay if your lucky. my sound is mainly attributed by my lab systems amp rig..
funnily enough I really love the lack of drums. It is great music, as much as I like drums, stringed instruments without vocals can have quite the effect. Let us know what club you play at when you get around to it, I would love to come watch
we definitely will in the near future... we will definitely be playing at some improv jazz clubs first.. then think about recording some cool stuff with alot of room for improvisation.. and maybe a few set chords etc
3 amazing musicians
