I think that what is so amazing about RENT is that it can be real and reveal the sad truth of life, but it is also funny and expressed the happiness life holds and the talent people possess. It shows us that yes, there is a dark side of life, but there is also a quite humorous, light side to life that we should embrace. We should work to make ourselves and others aware of the dark side, but not dwell on it, we should focus on the happy side and as Jonathon Larson said "live for today."
