I am not sure when Mary had this baby in this episode...I never saw an episode where Mary gave birth & the baby lived...I did see the episode "the sound of children" where she had a miscarriage...does anyone know when Mary had this baby...what episode it was in? Just wondering thanks!

@AmandaRules4ever I always thought they made it seem like she became pregnant again not too long after the miscarriage, but just didn't make a thing about it like they did before. And Mary wasn't shown for a few eps, so it made seem like time went by and Adam Jr was soon born.

I get along best with doctors, and other men of medicine, b/c I work in Allied Health Care: I'm a Paramedic.

They didn't have Paramedics in the 1800s. Modern Prehospital care didn't develop until 1964.

Before then, ambulance workers only transported bodies to the hospital without working on the patients.

Very true, it's a timeless classic and I'm glad young people watch it. I was just referring to recognizing some of the extras (actors) that were used for this episode, I saw them in movies during the 70's and 80's. I do understand the LHOP has a lot of young people watching. Part of the reason I plan on posting some of the older episodes when I get seasons 1-5, which should be shortly.

Actually, I just hit 37 so 36 isn't old. LOL I must admit though, when I was 13 or 14 36 sounded old. My daughter just turned 7, it seems like the older she gets the older I feel, can't wait until she's a teenager...sigh

Don't rush it they will grow up really fast and then you will miss this age. I cannot believe I am raising a 7 mos. old and have an 8 yr. old and a 10 yr. old. The 7 mos. is so much easier to care for than the 8 and 10 yr. old. Each age has its problems, but just think about the empty nest. Teenagers want to run about and I am fearful of it.

Oh, I'm in no rush for her to grow up, although she certainly is! Still, at 7, she is a little girl but time does fly. When they start getting into 6th and 7th grade, that's the time to start worrying. LOL I did my share of running about and getting into trouble as a teen but like most kids, I settled down once I got through college. Almost all kids go through that kind of period, some get into more trouble than others but I've seen kids do complete turn arounds.

I think the poor gal is having some computer problems and is very busy. I'm sure she'll have them up as soon as she can.

As for kids, they're all different. I grew up with divorced parents and abusive step parents so it was different for me than some kids. Although compared to many children, I had it pretty good. My father was a doctor and a good role model, although seperated, he always made an effort to stay close. It was my stepfather who was the problem.

Thanks E2. If you're as old as I am (and I doubt most are on this board) you recognize some of the robbers, they have acted in many other shows and movies. Michael Landon always did a great job of using extras that were, fir the most part, very decent actors.
