I think this has less to do with Allah's anger with blasphemers, alcohol imbibers in Bahrain and modernisers, and rather more to do with corrupt business men and politicians who do not build drains, and would rather see people die than give up their ill-gotten riyals.

But what do i know? I only used to live in a tropical country where it rained, a lot, much more than this, and flooding like this wasn't seen.

Really good shots of the devastation Riyadh endured. Most of it is up around Granada Mall/Exit 8. I see the Mercure Hotel in the shape of the boat seemed ok :-)

God/Allah bless King Abdullah - I think he is exactly the man to lead KSA as it goes through a lot of changes. He is a far seeing man, Mash'allah!

Allah doesn't seem to mind Saudi muslims drinking and whoring in Bahrain, so I'm sure the Kingdom will be OK. Riyadh's a lot more conservative than Manama, and Riyadh's the place getting flooded today, so maybe you've misunderstood His views on this one. I'll agree with your point of view when I see Bahrain, Dubai etc struck by lightning and sinking into the sea. Otherwise you're just a whack-job.

For starters, Bahrain or Dubai does not have Makkah and Madina and their rulers are not called the Custodian of two holy mosques.
