    Estundiantina waltz

  • @joe22twentytoo Estudiantina is the first tune played in this medley of music by Waldteufel. I have a partial tune list in the description.

  • emilie waldteufel

  • 0:51 is wedding of he winds (same composer"

    0:51 maybe tregnier279 knows.

  • @anglerfly No, it's not Wedding of the Winds, which is by John T. Hall.

  • Whats waldteufel potpourri?

  • 2:26 is 'Dolores'

  • @pianoman1984 no its not delores is completly difffrent check GAVIOLITOM videos!

  • @anglerfly OOPS. you're right. my mistake, it's a part from Très Jolie

  • Does 153 take 150 rolls? What kind does north tonawadna organs take?

  • The Wurlitzer 145, 146, 148, 150, and 153 organ play the 150 roll. North Tonawanda organs, in general, play their own roll styles, usually it's an endless roll.

Some North Tonanwanda organs have been converted to play Wurlitzer rolls. The North Tonawanda owned by the late John Leonard, for instance, plays Wurlitzer 150 rolls.

  • Do you know the history of DeKliest

  • @wurlitzer153duplex What does this take?

  • @anglerfly This organ is a 105, which plays 125 rolls. The 125 roll is used on the 103, 104, 105, 106, 125, and 126 model organs.

  • wow you can follow the notes on the roll.....fascinating! to say the least

  • Neat!

  • it would have been nice to see the rest of the organ and the mechanics working.

  • This is an arrangement by Gustav Bruder.Afriend of mine has it on her Ruth Model 37.I am in England.

  • 2:00-2:26 is the lovely "Polarstern" Waltz - a rare waltz, to the best of my knowledge never recorded, but which I came across at a live concert many years ago.

  • Thanks!

  • @PerCPH2200 I did record "Polarstern" in Szczawnica, Poland, on the 16th of July, 1988. And on the 8th of July, 1988 I recorded the most wonderful Waldteufel's waltz - "Fur Dich". The introduction to this composition is played at 6:48, and does not seem to forecast anything special - but the later parts are flabbergasting. I can play them by ear - perhaps I will place the whole piece on YT.

  • wow great job

  • Thanks for sharing this!
