awwwww so cute, they're my fav kind dogs, my dog just has some GSP. That means german shepherd puppies. they're 2 weeks old, and they're starting to walk around they're eyes are opened, and they are starting to eat!!!!!!!!!!!! But i won't let them, do that they can't eat yet, only milk! one got in my kitchen wow are they learning so quickly
Today I got a german shepherd pup.Took him to the vet and obviously the pup was sad he had left his mom behind and also his brother and he looked kind of depressed the breeder had told me he hadnt been outside of his house the vet told us the pup was very sick and he had bronchitis and that app. it would cost 1200 dollars and that he needed to be hospitalized.. they made 150 dollars off an x-ray and they wanted to hospitalize him They wanted to tell me he diedand resell him.Be careful you guys
I can tell you right now that ,that dog isn't 8 weeks.. more like 12 weeks or so.. I have a German at 6 months and I know what she was at 8 weeks.. good looking dog BTW!
i have a german shepard that looks just like that but now he is HUGE belive me she will shoot up and be verry verry big look up a Belgum geman shepard and you will see how powerful they are
@wateryfowls It is a great name.I never knew a dog who's owner would name a dog Karla. It's always other names like Killer,or Rex,Or Fido. For females dogs shady or Baby or Princess but never my name.So it's cool that I found your video and all I see is my name and this cute little German puppy.Well I can see she is no longer Little. But she's still cute.Hope to see more of her.Keep the videos coming.
Poor doggy. Those first few weeks in a new place can be hard. All the comfort of mom, siblings, familiar smells and sights are gone. Everything's different, new and scary. Looks like this girl has a good home with nice people and lots of love.
wat brand food do you feed ur dog? n how many times a day? please reply asap as i thing my gsd pups food aint gud enough n he is a little bit obedient
I thing she is 8 or 9 weeks old the fact of standing ears and the size has do do with the bred more than with age they do stand in 8 weeks and if you dont like the Video then you suck .... the video is nice
My stud dog just sired a litter of pups and my pick looks just like Karla, granted she's only 3 weeks but she has the same coat pattern and the white toe tips. Karla beatiful and for the record when we brought my stud dog home at 8 weeks his ears were standing. So i gotcha back. ;)
I really want one of these. And don't mind all the comments of the "not 8 weeks" thing. Some dogs mature faster then others, just like humans. haha. VERY good looking dog you have there.
She is such a beautiful dog! I have a male GSD 5 years old. He was quite a nutter when he was young, but he has not ceased to impress me over the years. It's incredible how intelligent this breed is.
@LovelyApril100 that;s cute. in this video,is that GS really 2 months old? cos i am having a less than 2 month GS mix pup and its smaller. the GS in this video looks as if it;s 5 months old~
Her ears wouldn't be perking if she was 2 months old. Ears start to perk usually 4 months at the absolute earliest. The cartilage typically begins to harden around 6 months, and they don't stay fully perked until their 10+ months old.
Her ears are already up at 8 weeks? Booo i love their little floppy ears when they are puppies! She is beautiful tho, seems a bit older than 8 weeks from what i have seen. But i dunno..lol not my dog xD Beautiful!
I can only imagine what a beautiful girl Karia has become and what a friend you have by now ! You can check out the photpbucket link on my channel to see the Best Friends I have Traveled through life with ! Peace doughboy

Hi! your puppy is so beautiful! German Shepherd are the best. I have 2 German girls and they surprise me every day with their intelligence. I couldn't live without a pet company.
Lot of love for you and your puppy from this far land....Chile, SouthAmerica.
ma baby gsd had erect ears at prob 6wks i think its all according to the dog really... also ma dogs ears were massive 4 his body proportion wen he was a baby, he looked like a fluffy fat bear with massive pointy ears haha!!
wonderful video.. can't wait to put my 3 yr old german shepherd in pup.. lukin for a handsome stud dog rite now.. she should be ready about June.. Any experts out there cud u tell me is 3yrs too young to put her in pup? What sort of mum's do german sheps make? i''ve never bred pups before so it's all trial n error, but wanna do the best for my dog coz she's my best friend.
also lookign at your puppy with the leaning ears thats normal and their is no question wheather he is pure breed or not,he/she is purebreed, most if not all shep/mixs wont or cant stand their ears at all,,your dog looks heathy and happy and is a cute one ....good luck.,let me know when its ears stand fully erect , usually if yours is doing that now the tepee ears they will be fully erect at 21/2 to 3 months old just dont let him rough house too much and dont let anyone mess with the ear
nah its normal some take longer than others till they have their ears up. mine had hes ears up when he was 8 weeks old too. u know not every dog is the same ;)
a german shepherd depending on the over all size of the ears can take up to 7 months to hold there ears up , my gsd is 8 weeks and 16lbs now and just put his ears up yesterday.
depending on the dog it can take a pure bred german shepherd up to 8 months to hold its ears up eect with out putting them down , some are just earlier ,mine is 3 months old now and he put his ears up at 21/2 months and they havent fell at all, its all in how long they teeth ,sometimes they will drop while cutting there adult teeth also
Yes it can happen sometimes, its just that no pigment reached there paws (lack of color pigment where the white is where there should be matching color near on the paws, dont mean there not pure breed, they can also get black marks on their tongues they are like freckles ,has nothing to do with being not pure breed..
Aww just lovely. I would love to see Lady that size again if only for 5 mins. Got to love puppy GSD ears!! What I find about GSDs is that they are always happy. Your video is a great example. Adorable!!
She is kinda young to have ears standing up, usually it took mine a few more weeks before he could have both of them up at once, but oh well, consider your puppy a fast developer :)
My GSD is 3 months old and his left ear is up but not his right. Mark's right let nature take it's course. Some GSD's ears don't raise until 6 or even 7 months.
Shut the fuck up retarded crapper, I know how to spell that word, this is another version of it I like to use. Go fuck yourself with your education bitch.
No way this puppy is 8 weeks old. Definitely not younger than 10 weeks.

necessarily happen at 8 weeks.

is 8 weeks a good age to get a sheperd puppy?
RachelsRants 2 years ago
Hi
Yes 8 weeks is ideal as it is the earliest age that
any reputable breeder will release the puppy from its parents.
wateryfowls 2 years ago
ok, thanks. how destructive are they as puppies? so far ive only done research on adult sheperds and dont know much about the puppy stage
RachelsRants 2 years ago
No more so than most other puppies.
We had very few problems with Karla.
However they are intelligent dogs and you must be prepared to devote the time to train them correctly and make sure they get the appropriate excercise.
Do some research on the internet there is a lot of useful info out there and good luck!

Im just wondering.. how come other german shepherds puppies at 8 weeks old .. their ears are down how come this 1 is up??
Is this 1 a mix? or the other one is a mix?
Im thinking of getting a pure GSD

nah its normal some take longer than others till they have their ears up. mine had hes ears up when he was 8 weeks old too. u know not every dog is the same ;)

a german shepherd depending on the over all size of the ears can take up to 7 months to hold there ears up , my gsd is 8 weeks and 16lbs now and just put his ears up yesterday.

depending on the dog it can take a pure bred german shepherd up to 8 months to hold its ears up eect with out putting them down , some are just earlier ,mine is 3 months old now and he put his ears up at 21/2 months and they havent fell at all, its all in how long they teeth ,sometimes they will drop while cutting there adult teeth also

do some german shepherd puppies have white on their pawls?
ntfd125 2 years ago
Yes it can happen sometimes, its just that no pigment reached there paws (lack of color pigment where the white is where there should be matching color near on the paws, dont mean there not pure breed, they can also get black marks on their tongues they are like freckles ,has nothing to do with being not pure breed..

Aww just lovely. I would love to see Lady that size again if only for 5 mins. Got to love puppy GSD ears!! What I find about GSDs is that they are always happy. Your video is a great example. Adorable!!

She is kinda young to have ears standing up, usually it took mine a few more weeks before he could have both of them up at once, but oh well, consider your puppy a fast developer :)

so true they usually dunt stand up till 6 months lol

hey buddy did u do anything with his ears....???let me know pls cuse i have german shepherd aswell ...thnx

Hi
No we did nothing with her ears, we bought her from a local reputable breeder and i guess we may be more lucky than some.
However i have read that it can vary quite a lot, so be patient and let nature do its thing.
Thanks
Mark

My GSD is 3 months old and his left ear is up but not his right. Mark's right let nature take it's course. Some GSD's ears don't raise until 6 or even 7 months.
