Jazz Gloria, IMO, is a classic. Nice rendition, good tempo. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a CD with it. This piece is one of Natalie Sleeth's best.
I am in a select choir that is in the school system and we sang this when our levy failed and I loved it. We didn't do this arragement and we sang it once because we were limited in our performances but I found it in my choir folder and I told my friends that sang it last year and we all went crazy because we all ADORED this piece. I have a copy right next to me! I have also memorized this piece as well! Are these adults? Such an inspiring song!
I love this arrangement. I usually dread singing latin pieces that include the word Gloria (because they tend to be boring) lol. but i would sing this arrangement any day! Great job
We did JAzz GLoria one year...and we only had five sopranos that could sing the the high notes...so we had five sopranos singing the soprano part(including me), and the rest of my section sang the alto part.
Sang both of these in my past chorus experiences...your choir pulled them off VERY nicely. Wonderful accenting on jazz gloria, and a great bongo-ist to boot.
Christmas in about three minutes was spectacular. No other words could describe it.
I sense the effort put into this and it shows.
Of course I have no idea where or who this is, but I felt like saying something.
