I think your title could use work, or at the very least shortening.

The sound of the game was also a tad to loud in comparison to you voice.

Not saying this was awful, just could use some polishing.

Another notable variation was that you got a wider choice of screens, depending on whether you exited left or right. Level 27 was terrible; the letters RF made out of gold bricks and a single silver brick behind a 'reappearing' one (I only got there by entering my name as MAAAAH in the hi-score table, of course).

I preferred this to the original on my cpc. Both were very hard tho.

I used to play the heck out of this game on my amiga 500

Very nice title screen graphics. The multi coloured bricks are let down by the hard to spot monochromatic ball and bat graphics below that.

Perhaps it would have been better to let go of the fat textures in the background and replace them with more sparse pixel patterns so that the background is a bit darker and the ball a bit more visible.

Of course Arkanoid was famous for its big fat textures as background to the playing field.
