@Toddlestead First learn what 'pop music' is: it's 'popular music'. Never equate pop music with Britney Spears or shit music because you'd be doing it an injustice. Pop songs are songs that were popular at the time when they were released. Pop songs could be a rock tune if it became popular through the airwaves. Under The Bridge could be considered a pop song under the rock genre. Led Zeppelin, when they emerged, would be considered pop music as well. Check your sources before you bash people.

@WillyPhister - you do realise that the makers of the original song give their permission for the cover to be made, its not like Santana just went behind Kiedis and tried to steal his song. Your not supposed to view this as a replacement to the original Under the bridge, just a different version. I agree with you that RHCP version is better, but this is good too and i have every respect for Santana and Vargas for making it. The Chili's obviously dont see this as insulting, why should you?
