Hey. Im really considering getting a tap'a'whirl but I would like to hear your opinion first. @3:57 you make an awesome wave pattern/rhythm and I want to produce something similar as well. Do you think there is any other tremolo pedal that also can do this? I'm also going to get a goatkeeper but it has different type of waves that could be very useful for me though.

I use a Digitech processor now. Used to have a floorful of stomp boxes once but the batteries were a pain. They're easier to twiddle with on the fly and sound a bit better once the mains 50 Hz is cancelled. I like my floorboard but occasionally have a go on the Boss and Schaller units when I feel a bit retro. I fire up my Sinclair Spectrum at the same time and Space Invaders makes it all clear!

Mind you, it's not for chords but mainly lead work, requiring long singing sustains.

@novanine9 Check out Behringer pedals. Very cheap and goog price/quality rate, but be careful with them, they have a plastic housing instead of metal.

@chikamoako BOTH =] but id get dd20 for the money because dl4 is abit risky when you get them now days they have a little problem with a lower volume glitch and usually you can get it mod now anywhere but costs around another 40-50 dollars for the volume mod so ull be paying 300 bucks around dd20 its great sound and has great tone and versatile tempos, speed, sound, and great preset modes i have both and dl4 is modded so i love it now how it is g'day hope that helps =]

2 questions: is the guitar a mahogany body one? and the second one is how the hell you produce such a good distortion sound from a solid state crate? Get single channel tube amp and you have a serious rig! Prefer something with a really good clean channel. Fender, Vox hughes&kettner... I tell you i have run some pedals through a vox ac30 and it was really cool. I myself am looking for a tube amp to run my pedals.. If you have any idea feel free to share it

Dude, i have your guitar and a line 6 spider 2 150w amp. It sounds better than all those pedal combined. Not saying those pedals suck... just... the guitar gives a good sound on any amp. I threw an emg g81-7 in teh bridge

Love the pedal board, I have a few pedals I like to use live, but got tired of the "pedal shoe shuffle" so I went to Axess electronics got a couple of their routers , now its all remotely switched by midi works awesome and believe it or not the tone of every pedal improved, including those are true by pass, I have less than 10 ft of cable between the guitar and amp now as a result.Much improved signal and tone.

danelectro makes some good pedals on the cheap. I have their fish and chips eq and the fab chorus with no regrets.

that said, I would probably try to spend more on the actual guitar first, imho. pedals are fun but you need a quality instrument
