  • A WILD NORTH KOREA APPEARS

  • 5 stars bro

  • Green tea is Japanese!

    Mochi is Japanese!

    Rice cake is Japanese!

  • Hay

    Stop that.

Green tea Rice cake is different

    Korean Rice cake.

    Japanese addition ricecake into

    Green tea.

But Korean from the first add to ricecake like a 쑥.

  • Another people thinking 쑥 is wormwood.

But Western's wormwood is diffrent to

    Eastern's Wormwood.

    However, Ricecake is Korean.

    Do you understand saru?

  • what?? r u blind??didnt you see what bundanbear was eating?

    Japanese MOCHI!!!!!

This aint about Japan and Korea..... ok babo? I dunno why bundabear supports Korean nationalist like you. You should die

  • Yeah.

    I'll die.

    (about 100years after)

And I didn't say 'That mochi is Korean!'.

    I want say 'Mochi's Origin is 떡'.

  • Hey Ninja, BE NICE HERE and enjoy your mochi and be GOOD!

  • KimTaeWan, you are right, and thank you for the input! Let's all be nice on this vid. "Rice cake" isn't a very good translation, I've decided myself.

  • 쑥 = mugwort is the best English translation.

  • dude! i love those things ! you rock man

  • I'm more of a sushi guy myself. :P

  • Haha, you changed the name of this video.

Did I disturb you? if i did, sorry :(

  • No, it just seems that "rice cake" is a poor translation, as Westerners think of those puffed rice cakes that are famously not delicious.

  • In Australia we have green ant tea (:

  • ooooh ill join u infact i loove green tea ricecakes

  • Now Garrett, Cloe's being good here, talking about natto and all. Can't we all just be like Fonzie? What was Fonzie? He was cool, right? Did you see "Pulp Fiction"? I'm sure you did, my friend! So, let's all be like Fonzie! (Unless someone else isn't cool first, of course.)

  • :D AW WHY THANK YOU.

  • My pleasure!

  • i have complete respect for you =]

  • Mochi and 떡 is something different things. I heard from My Japanese Language Teacher. haha,

  • Oh, I didn't know that 떡 is 'rice cake' in English. thanks for good informations

  • It's not a perfect translation, but it's the only translation I've ever seen for 떡.

  • What's inside? Bean paste? Looks tasty. You would post this just before I have my breakfast, now I'm really hungry! I love the green tea ice cream mochi we get at Trader Joe's.

  • Hi Deb! It's a bean paste with more green tea flavor inside. I was just reading about Trader's Joe's mochi ice cream, as a matter of fact.

  • I ONLY DRINK FEBO TEA LOL 5/5

  • Does FEBO have tea? LOL

  • i dont no haha see yea

  • Go Israel! Go Japan!

  • Have one, Cloe!

  • I actually like them, but then, I like Natto too.

  • I had natto on the first morning I ever spent in East Asia, in Nakano, Tokyo. It was the last time I had natto, too. It's a real Kanto thing. People in Kansai don't eat natto so much.

  • And the natto they eat in Kansai is milder too. Kanto natto sometimes smells like ammonia.

By the way, I like Korean kimchi very much, but Japanese kimchi is too sweet and has too much garlic. I think most Japanese don't like the spicy heat of Korean kimchi, but they can just wash off the chili if they want to make it milder. But I prefer Japanese wasabi.

I miss kalguksu, pibimbap, many other dishes, and the zillions of side dishes in Korea.

  • SWEET vid, honey. Hahahaha! Is joke, get it? Hey, my English is getting better and better. Thank you so muchie for teach me!

    love ya always,

    Yvonne

  • Hmmm, are they anything like the Vietnamese rice sweets? Because i LOVE those! I'll have to visit my local Korean store and see if they have those, cause they look yummy. lol =)

  • Yes, the pounded glutinous rice made into a "cake" is similar in Vietnam, but with some different flavors.

  • Thank you. That was tasty! :D

  • Aafwan!

  • Ok it is proof tat ur not racist...

Ty for a vid like this...

And sorry i was mis understanding..

  • Yes, I'm sincerely trying to build bridges of friendship.

    ありがとうございます。

  • GREAT VID YO!

  • They don't look like rice cakes. They look like candy; specifically like artificial marshmallow, with chocolate, or dark gramme cracker, or dates inside, & shredded coconut, &/or sprinkles(made of confectioner's sugar & food coloring) on the outside. They are even in those little pleated, paper cups they some candies come in. But, then I'm seeing it through the eyes of my experience.

  • tuber, "rice cake" may not be a great translation. They are "tteok," or "mochi." The outside is all pounded glutinous rice, not marshmallow. Google "mochi" and you'll see.

  • It's all glutinous rice, green tea, and a bit of sugar. All natural, actually. The dark green tea gives it the green color. If you ever have a chance, go to an Asian market and ask for "mochi" or "tteok," and you will be pleasantly surprised, my friend!

  • correct ^^
