meh Macworld sucked seriously, all they talked about was ilife and iwork... which to me are useless.. Im thinking about getting an iMac, but like many other ppl im waiting on the update! Ive been with pc for a while the main reason i didnt switch is price.. but now i have some money and i feel like i should really buy an iMac, funny thing but ive wanted one since i was kid, so it'll be like a dream come true :]

Cinema displays, contrary to popular opinion are extremely well priced for what they are. They use a pro grade H-IPS monitor which is extremely important for colour accuracy etc. in the pro space. These are professional monitors. You will not see a cheaper Apple branded display unless Apple create a new consumer display using a cheap consumer panel.

i dont like the idea of apps going online either! apps, especially important typing, presentation, and other software. now, i really like the idea of mobile me which adds to the functionality of the apps on your computer. but apps going completely online and stuff like that is just plain stupid and would just be unnecessary.

i thought openCL is meant to utilize your graphics card, so you can use its processing power AS is processor. not meant to technically benefit "graphics" if you will, but your computers power. at least i thought thats what OpenCL does.

I think that If the iPhone was a lot cheaper it would rival and beat the Nintendo DS. In my personal view the graphics on the Nintendo DS are rubbish.

Apps on the internet are a bad idea also inmy opinion, I live in the UK the best broadband speeds in my area are just hitting 1mb/s, I do think having apps on the internet are a good idea so long as they are backed up by a hard copy on your computer, the internet still has got a long way to go before we can rely on it completely.

Vista *WAS* stable before SP1 came out, SP1 added new hardware and software compatibility and fixes and previous security updates. I used Vista x64 before SP1 and it was totally fine in every way and never crashed.

I agree that you really can't make the iPhone screen any smaller, you would need a stylus. A majority of the Keynote will center around Snow Leopard. Phil and the gang will show the new technologies. A home server is to niche to get into and a large screen iPod isn't going to be an iPod that is more like a tablet computer, wild rumor. I predict Snow Leopard, Mac Mini refresh, and iLife, Mobile Me, iWork updates.

dont see too much of a point for a home server from apple, they got the time capsule for backing up, and they have the macpro which can basically be used as a server, its got all the server hardware, and if thats not enough they have xserve for their business and education people

Well Adrian it's been almost a year i've saved enough money with in this 11 months that I can buy other Mac but I really really really really want this 30 inch LED bad I like the new design I got my fingers crossed for MacWorld 2009 or hope Apple at least talk about them so that it can give us an update on the LED Cinema, just 3 more days until we find out, and thanks for the shout out.

i would buy a Apple server in a minute. I have a time capsule with 500gb, and it is brilliant, so i can't imagine how great it would be. It would need at least 4 hdd bays to compete with the HP, and need to be windows compatible.
